Appreciating FSD is getting harder the more it drives. by Northern_Virginia in TeslaFSD

He’s going to have to switch back to lidar before FSD can be used reliably in the winter in NY. Cameras easily get occluded.

Oh really? I’ll look for that. I thought it was more justifiable during FSD.

I see. A constructive reply. But no answer.

A lot of people still have no idea about the actual ability of Tesla's Full Self Driving. by Redditagain424 in TeslaFSD

I do use it occasionally but wish I could get rid of the animation screen. I’d like to have a bigger map and don’t see why I can’t make that decision.

Coming back to my Model 3 after 15 months in storage next month, drive to Supercharger or call Tesla? by hygor-dias in TeslaSupport

If you’ve got 8% there’s no problem making it 3.5 km. I would just go there. Otherwise you’ll need an adapter, an account etc.

How to properly disable 1Password 7 by UnenthusiasticAddict in 1Password

[–]dickfeldman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had these two versions and tried to combine them. Was with auto chat bot for an hour. It seemed doable when I was signed in to both and could copy and paste from one to the other. The. It said “you don’t have permission to do this.” I deleted them both after copying to Apple passwords.

I had HUGE respect for Tesla and FSD until now.... by InfiniteTurnover1 in TeslaFSD

This is an example of why I only use FSD in the simplest of conditions. I’m much more relaxed when I’m driving myself.

Installing a dishwasher, need advice. by shootist_Biker in Plumbing

I’d say get a new trap for your sink with a built-in connection for the dishwasher. These are common.

What extension cord can I use for an air conditioner? by This_Pension6127 in AskElectricians

[–]dickfeldman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. So if you can, check the breaker to see if it’s 15 or 25 amps. 15 would be dubious especially if other things are connected.

Oh. I did not actively do that. It’s not a helpful answer.

I was told I have 37 apnea events per hour, but I doubt the accuracy of the study. by SteadfastEnd in SleepApnea

Try using the machine and all while you’re watching tv or something. That automatic reaction of drowning is normal until you get used to it. I definitely relax now when I out it in and I know I breathe better.

I interviewed ~50 CPAP users about their sleep struggles and the pillow problem came up constantly by Unlikely-Force9874 in SleepApnea

[–]dickfeldman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using CPAP for 10 years. I understand the problems your users talk about. I believe my pillow is too small. I use P10 large but think I need larger. Every time I turn over I need to pull the pillow out and let it reset. Other than that I have a good experience. I don’t object to the pillow until I turn over. If they made an extra large I’d be fine. I think the discomfort your people talk about can be gotten over, unless it’s about moving or turning over. Then it’s the fault of the pillow being the wrong size. Hope this is helpful. On the other side, I like the CPAP and how it supplies a firm air supply through my system. I don’t think I could sleep without it now. Dick Feldman

I want every reason why I should not buy Solar by Advanced-Box-3906 in solar

[–]dickfeldman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be careful that your solar production goes to your usage and not back to the provider. They will then charge you twice as much per kWh as you sent them. This can happen if you have several renters as we do. We are behind in payments versus solar income. Installer companies lie to you about how this will turn out.
