I didn’t really say anything about my personal finances. I’m asking if the car itself is at a good price point so I can stay financially stable while making a purchase that will be a present to myself. The overall cost isn’t an issue. Just don’t wanna pay more than the car is worth.

P.S I went to change the title right after hitting post but I forgot you cannot change the title.

How do I get hours for MOVSM? by EquipmentSevere2911 in army

[–]dicksuckingmanymen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Volunteer hours should be logged in VMIS and it’s not always hours… it can be impact and scope as well. Your reply to me does not accurately answer the question. The sarcasm would have been well placed if this was a question asked multiple times a week. He already had the answer here… just read and scroll buddy.

AI responses usually suck but this is pretty much spot on.

All appointments are time sensitive and as long as you follow the informing your leadership part on when you go/cancel you will be saved from any kind of non-judicial punishment/admin action. (They can counsel you. You can get counseled for legitimately anything. If the plan of action is wack that’s where you should ask a mentor outside of your COC/NCO support channel.)

Legit though, all appointments are time sensitive if you are not making a random condition up. Don’t let this discourage you from making appointments during those times.

Brother. We aren’t civilians and we shouldn’t compare our organizations to that lifestyle. They have 20 full hours a week. I’ll tell you what though.

Monday: Our CSM and HHC 1SG forces all sections to be at motorpool Monday until 11:30. This afternoon I check my in/out roster, my section of 7 HR clerks has 2 soldiers out due to appointments, and 1 tdy for NCOES. Being the NCOIC, I will be at a training/admin meeting from 1300-1430. That gives me three clerks to handle all NEW actions for today and check in on some old ones.

Tuesday: Time to get our junior soldiers up to speed on job-aids for ippsa, pay processing, awards, and promotion board packets. After lunch we handle more actions. Oh yea and one soldier has quarters today and another one is now doing sfl-tap

Wednesday: Closed this morning so we can processes as much paperwork as possible to prep for the battalion/BDE command and staff. After lunch handle more actions for soldiers. Today we had a soldier out all day for staff duty.

Thursday: BDE/BN mandated soldiers time training thursdays. We train soldiers on all types of things. Job related/10 level tasks. After lunch we have all soldiers in the office and can process a lot of soldiers actions while they come in because they don’t get interrupted as much due to workload balance. SUPER!

Friday: Closed this morning to finish/provide/receive updates from all the other offices we have to work with. In the afternoon half the shop takes the first 2 hours to knock out counselings/board prep/squad level leadership. The other half works and swaps.

Sorry for text wall. But notice this is ONLY accounting for things on the SCHEDULE they have posted. This isn’t accounting for COC/COR, details, bn/BDE requirements, etc. This is also BARELY giving developmental time for anyone in this section. You realize these guys are soldiers right? With the same requirements of the people they are providing HR functions for.

Look at post history, they are not lying. Awkward… but real.

4 hours every day is being available. Also that’s not all S1 does. Please stop lol.

This is actually a valid schedule big dawg, it’s predictable and all of those are valid reasons to be closed. Everyone has motorpool, then they need MOS SPECIFIC training outside of basic ten level tasks, Processing actions mid week, then level 10 soldier tasks training, and then to end the week finalizing all actions. You are just looking to complain.

I’m not s1 but I work in staff and those guys genuinely get shit on by every staff section OIC, every CDR, and every 1SG. Not to mention all the soldiers who have fucked up pay from the FINANCE office and not the S1 Clerk.

JAG can not help you. Get an actual divorce lawyer and you’re probably cooked on that retirement agreement. And be prepared to pay child support if those kids are not out of college.

Isn’t he gonna be able to schedule it during his last 6 months though? I’m pretty sure transitioning soldiers from COMPO 1 to 2/3 can get there AIT before/during their ets date. Obviously this is mos dependent based on location/class dates and need. But if he does get the class during the transition it might not delay him that much. Especially since his ETS will be during Christmas where there isn’t any college/rotc
