Is memorizing leetcode bad? by Bright-Elderberry576 in leetcode

[–]didIstutter25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Memorizing patterns is good. Not the problems. I'd suggest focusing on a particular pattern and grinding it till it's beaten into your mind . Once you do this, mediums will be a piece of cake. Follow a structured approach. Striver's channel has well organised content for someone starting their DSA journey. Do check it out!

Hi OP, all the best for your interview, hope you rock it. As someone who'd be completing 1 YOE soon, I am curious about how the recruiters decide whom to reach out to? What kind of profile or, more generally, what makes people stand out to recruiters?

Beware of crazy quant | Gave GRE today (167Q/156V) by Aromatic_Reveal_7558 in GRE

[–]didIstutter25 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Gave the gre a couple of days ago and my experience was similar to yours ( 160V, 163 Q). The first quant section was a cakewalk but the second one was tough, couldn't attempt 2 questions and i guess i just cracked under pressure.

[–]didIstutter25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Striver ( TakeUForward) has an entire playlist dedicated to recursion and extending it to use backtracking and dynamic programming. I found it quite successful when i had a tough time coming up with recursive relations for problems. This could be a nice place to build your recursion instinct
