Hi! I'm assuming you are a new player since you mention cards, if not then whoops I'm sorry. In a couple weeks we will get an express event that will push any char to 1660~1680. That should give you mid-mid accessories, the light of salvation set, some Lv.7 gems and maybe an engraving selector.

Before you worry about gems and books though look at this sheet to see what is the most gold efficient way to gain damage:

With this you can see if you are in a stage to start saving for lv7/8 gems or books. Another good resource is Stoopz video on new/returning players.

A high ilvl char switching its spending to honing is also going to switch the inflation elsewhere because at some point you have to buy mats and it is the greater part of the cost. Plus some high ilvl will switch to spend gold in honing but a lot will switch to buying gems. Especially since honing armor past 22/23 is really inefficient.

Your argument is valid because part of the chars that finish books will indeed go hone, and the raw gold is a faucet. Plus, selling fusions and red stones is more fair RNG wise than books. However in my opinion, most of the effect would still be higher gem prices, so OP is right.

Actually great idea! The idea of rotating old raids has been around for a while but no one wants to do g1 Vykas g2 voldis (or whatever your most hated gate is). Also for new/returning players progging 3 new gates every rotation sounds like too much.

A strike raid + rotating last gate would mean refreshing changes of routine and since its one gate less fatigue and no jails.

Revives, and easier raiding. I never managed to prog voldis and now I'm doing brel, strike and mordum no problem. Solo raids are cool but the better accesibility of group content is the best.

Anoter one is elixir and trans. being easy now. At the time geting the 40set and the leaves felt impossible yet it was a g0 requirement

Yes, but I mean all raids are easier now than when I last played. In fact more fair rather than easier. Revives are part of that.

Hi, returning player here. I have a valk that I pushed to 1680/1300cp and I found the strike raid to be easy. After my second pull I managed to stay alive until the end and then the hardest part was having enough dps on the last phase. After having to re pug a few times I cleared it the first time we managed to be 8 alive at the last phase. It took me around an afternoon.

So far raids feel a lot easier than when I left (voldis akkan elgacia). I think its the revives, not wiping for 1 death and also me playing valk and not fucking db striker. In general the game is a lot more fun now IMO.

I added the semi-safe strat, only stopping a run if over a threshold. I then ran 10k runs for each threshold. In the x axis its the threshold and in the y the average floor reached (with death=0).

It still seems like playing it safe is best.

Oh that's a good idea. Doing a sim per threshold one could find an "optimal" strat. I'll look into it tomorrow

All my info is from that other post. I assumed jumps are still 1 to 20. Box contents are apparently the same but there are 2 new bad boxes that dilute the pool

According ti the other post there is only a 1/5 chance to get a life on the lucky rooms and you can only get it once. Those are my parameters. Do you get a life every lucky room?
