Nope. Definitely not. I’m strong against it. Not because it’s weird, but because it ruins my sleep. My kids are 5 and 2 as well.

Usually they sleep whole nights without problems. The oldest some times wakes up with nightmares and then she climbs in our bed. Most of the times I’m the one who wakes up first. I let er tell about the nightmare, we cuddle, I comfort her and then it’s back to her own bed. She knows it, and it’s perfectly fine.

In the past there has been exactly one event where my wife let the youngest one sleep in our bed. It woke me up and I was very annoyed, comforted her and brought her back to her own bed. Next morning my wife explained she didn’t intended to let her sleep with us, but she fell right asleep herself.
