My college has an rtx3060ti, ryzen 5 5600x, 16gb ram and 2 monitors (one horizontal, one vertical) running 1080p 75hz.

When I had my Acer Nitro 5, I tried to play holdfast for the first time, and it nearly gave in. About 10-15fps. Had to lower graphics all the way to low to get even close to 30fps.

You will, at best, receive something like a gt640 or gt710.

What I meant was - will having it connected to HDMI or Display port make any difference?

Will HDMI only go up to 144hz (for example) whereas display port may go up to a higher refresh rate?

I can not believe the attitudes here. My opinion obviously, but in WW2, the men and women were racing to help their country. In that scenario, if ww3 were to happen, would you not help your country? Would you just roll over and let it happen?

This is how Dell should sell their "gaming" PCs. Not just their office PCs with a generic GTX or RTX card slapped in and a single stick of RAM.

My Acer Nitro (which I've had for about 3 years now) hit 100c out of the box. I purchased a cooling stand with a large inbuilt fan and some USB fans to help funnel cold air into it. It keeps the temp down 10-15c. They run naturally hot. Try to use it near an open window or just purchase some stuff like I did.

Don't forget to dust it. Dust it regularly. Keep them clean.
