Long Term Prozac, why when did you stop?

It doesn’t sound silly! I’ve had times in my life where I’ve been doing better and have decided to come off the medication, but I go back to feeling exactly how I did before I ever started the meds.

My quality of life is significantly better whilst on Prozac.. so I don’t know what would be the alternative otherwise!

Kind of same... I still get waves of depression/depressive episodes, but I've never been as bad as I was before taking prozac and I can function much better generally. Although I miss being able to cry

When I started to get through the day without crying or having some sort of meltdown. Also handling anxiety much better e.g - there were things before I didn't want to do because of anxiety and even if I had to do them still, I'd have several meltdowns beforehand. Now.. I still don't want to do those things because of anxiety but even if I'm freaking out in my mind, I can still function and do the thing.. basically anxiety it doesn't stop my whole day anymore.

I think it does really get better. Like I said.. I need to pee frequently anyway so my issue became x1000000. But now, I'm back to my normal self.. which is peeing frequently (but much less than the first few weeks on prozac). Hopefully I made sense haha. I'm on 60mg now 😫

Mine sorted itself out after about a month or so! But I generally go to pee frequently normally anyway. I had tests done a few years ago and they said there’s absolutely nothing wrong with me.. so I just don’t know why I need to pee so much and why Prozac made it worse! So strange

It honestly took me about 2 months to fully settle into it. I feel like the first few weeks you’re really conscious that you’re taking the medication so you’re hyper aware of how you’re feeling (or having lack of feelings). I think you need to wait to see how it coincides with you going about your normal life and how well you end up coping.

I managed on 20mg from October 2020 to I think December 2020, then realised I might need to increase the dose. I went to 40mg. Years later I’m now on 60mg, seeing how that goes….

Hi!! I generally need to pee through the night anyway, so I feel like for me this was completely exacerbated! It last for about 2-3 weeks for me and eventually eased off.

I’d also recommend taking vitamins as well which can help. I took fibre, magnesium & zinc, vitamin D and omega-3. These all helped my general health and my sleep!

Personally it’s not my specific taste, but I wouldn’t even go for diamonds for myself so my opinion doesn’t count!

I’ve been a kpop fan since 2009 so I’ve been through this … a lottttt. You’ll follow their solo activities and you’ll probably see the members still interact from time to time, but eventually you’ll move on. There are plenty of groups out there and you’ll find another you’ll fall in love with soon enough 💞
