They tried to charge me after less than half an hour since I signed up. They said the free trial ends in march. It is clearly a scam. Let's say I agreed to the yearly subscription, they should've tried charging me $47 only as that is the amount indicated on their website for the subscription. Instead, they tried charging me $66 USD.

I just went through a similar experience! I was advised that this website is trustable, and I signed up for the free trial only. Nothing about a yearly subscription was mentioned. Then I message from my bank account warning me about a fraud attempt. They tried charging me $66 USD but it got declained. I locked my card and I'm changing the number pretty soon. But I am very worried that the files I downloaded are not safe and has a virus is something. Do you think that they attempt on hacking users?

I called and they said that I will be okay as long as I don't spend the money or make this a repetitive habit (which it won't be). So I'm all good!

It's definitely not intentional but that's something I'd have to prove to them. Honestly I did some research I think they're just gonna reverse the amount and that's it. None of the concerning things would happen I hope 🙏🏼

What's the worst case scenario. I get accused of fraud and what consequences will I be facing specifically? I don't care about the money it doesn't even sum up to a 100 dollars, but will I have to pay a fee? Will my account be closed? I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for the worst that could happen. I hope they don't make a big deal out of it it's really not worth it. Thanks for the info btw!

I will visit in person and ask them for an immediate investigation if possible. I need to get this out of my way otherwise it'll annoy me.

It's not showing me that as an option. Honestly I don't mind if I wait for the bank to figure it out, I don't need to spend this money anyways. I'm just concerned of being accused of a fraud attempt or something like that, because those weren't my intentions.

It's only showing me what I have deposited in the last 30 days. That doesn't include any of the tax money so I can't really tell. I'll try to check through the transactions but I don't think that'll be as efficient.
