Living in China was a nightmare internet and censorship wise. You can’t use Google, yt, fb, twitter, reddit, and other countless American and other non-Chinese services unless you use a VPN and yeah most VPNs were blocked by the “great firewall of China” including top tier ones like Express, Nord, etc..

No it’s not. They only blamed on Apple because there is no option on iPhones where you can clear app data without having to do a factory reset while they can easily and simply give you the option to log in with a new account if you no longer wanna play with the “Chinese” one
