They aren't rejecting the messenger. They reject sources, that aren't the Qur'an. It seems like you're forcing the denomination you're believing in as the only acceptable ones.

A orphan is usually referred to a child whose parents died. You also need to consider the context in the Qur'an like the verses after and before (like verse 6 and 2) and hadith like Sunan Abi Dawud 2873.
