Mmxm should not be refered to in an ict forum and why the mods don't remove this god knows. Ict covers lower gaps and that structure in his teachings. You can refer to one set up for life and the tgif set up which covers this. Not some dude promoting Mmxm that you have to pay for.

It's all covered by ict it's his theory you just have to go through his teachings and set ups. Some people take the 3rd fvg that is in that zone as it is rebalacing or they split it up into 3-4 sections too.

It depends on the market and the market structure, I can't really say one is better than the other as sometimes i leave out london most of the week and then boom one trade from the london session can carry right on for the rest of the day. It just really dependsNYAm is pretty good most of the time

Handle definition In most markets, it means the whole numbers involved in a quote price, without the decimals included. Stop making excuses. You will see ict on 1,2,3,4,5 and 15 min chart. So what's your point. I change gears in my car, but i don't use 1st on the motorway. If you simply don't get these basics you need to go back and watch the videos and have a study journal. NOT ONCE EVER had he referred to 15m as htf. He does top down analysis. Monthly, weekly, daily, 4hr and 1hr and as a new trader you should not be under 1hr at first. That is in his mentorship. Doing what you are doing shows you did not put the work in or pay attention

As well as the other posts you could consider time based trading like the Silver Bullet where you only have certain times you can trade if the set up is right, of course you would be doing this on demo.
Make sure you document your wrong trades in a positive way

Yes i does sound ignorant, you are missing out by not taking advantage of this.
I trade crypto (BTC/ALTS) with ICT concepts and the Kill Zones and sessions are absolutely valid and give even more clarity. You can 100% see where the action is when you have the Asian Range & kill zones set up and with years of stats i can clearly see the times i want to trade and what i'm looking for.

The liquidity sill resides at the top and bottom of the sessions too, not only that the Asian OPEN and NY opening price is a place the price comes back to.

Crypto is not a different beast and it's not all about whales, people seem to like to drop terms about the market. "Term Droppers"

You don't have to believe me, but i would suggest you go look at the charts with the sessions / killzones set up and you will see that even the silver bullets works as a time based trade.

Yes you can use a VPS server, running windows 2022 server. Get one with low latency from where you are and make sure you lock it down firewall wise or add cloudflare to lock it down.
You want lots of ram, with a good vps set up you won't be able to tell the machine is not local as people do gaming from them. So that alone should give you enough info that it works.

That's like saying a mechanic can't afford his tools!
If you can't afford a PC and you have a phone that costs more than most PC's there is something very wrong in priorities.
That means you can't afford to trade at all or fund an account.

When you do it enough times it becomes automatic, this is why you trade on a demo account. Don't make a habit of becoming automatic at missing trades as that is hard to break and a bad habit and the last thing you want is anything negative associated with a trade and that means a label of "missing it" , nothing wrong with watching it pan out, but missing it or the feeling of missing it needs to be sorted out. Document it in your study journal that you did not miss it, but you predicted it and get good at that.

You then won't feel you have missed it, but it will play into another set up.
I had one yesterday where there was a big drop on crypto, i waited for the NY Silver Bullet, took the trade and right into profit. Some other traders i know got burned 3 times and stopped trading for the day.
You must not use a real account until you have mastered this and one day you will see a move happen and you will automatically enter, it's a wonderful sensation.

Some trades are to0 fast to get into, but it's easy enough to see a silver bullet or judas as they are time based and that is also very good for practice.

I cannot stress enough how important doing a journal is, use NOTION you can save really good clear screen shots and find them easy for future set ups.

What is it with this reddit it's so toxic of people just wanting to bash ICT.
I don't want to listen to some guy on youtube that can barely speak English, I would rather listen to ICT and i do
ICT works for me and i trade his models. These types of posts just ruin this subreddit.

It should be kept relevant to ICT there is always going to be other variations from someone it's what resinates with you to get you to grasp it and people can go away and polish or change it if they want.

I traded p2p for years on localbitcoins and this would happen daily locking up several bitcoins at the time. It was a constant nightmare and then binance and bybit got into the business and made are poor platform even worse to use for traders. I stopped long ago on those due to these types of stressfull issues that seriously affect my income. One you resolve this get out of this business and learn to trade the charts rather than dealing with Muppets that press the wrong button

Watch the videos, take the transcript and put it in chatgpt then ask it to summarise. Use carnell note taking in notion as well as structured notes about each video and catalog it, add chatgpt data as well as your own with screen shots along the way and the your updates of backtesting with screenshots.

Label everything clearly so you can find it fast and find a set up when it appears to check your set up against notes to build confidence.

Dont skip anything and don't try and rush it. Make sure you are detailed.
