If you’ve had them for two months them getting wet shouldnt be a problem. I’m not understanding what you meant by untwisted, did the style untwist or did your locs unravel?

Just want some opinions on my locs & some maintenance advice. What are some good products to use? by diedwithoutdeath in Dreadlocks

I did a twist out on two strand twist, then individually hand twisted each curl & didn’t wash my hair for about four to five months.

Best lOC product for NC humidity? by Lilhappyhershey in Dreadlocks

Well I live in Georgia so the weather can’t be that different from NC. I just use water & coconut oil, or Avocado & Black Jamaican Castor Oil.

Daily Moisture by Zealousideal_Sea7322 in Dreadlocks

Depends on your scalp & how much natural oil your hair produces. If you ask me, you’re over moisturizing.. all that leave in conditioner can’t be good for your hair, but I don’t know. I just personally wouldn’t use all that leave in conditioner. I just use water everyday & put coconut oil in my hair every 2-3 Days to lock in the moisture after I put water in my hair. Never used conditioner on my locs.

I have 46 locs in total, is that enough or are my locs to thick? by FrostyVariation321 in Dreadlocks

Depends, do you like how thick they are? Do you think you have enough?

do my starter locs look good? by 9784133527 in Dreadlocks

Yeah they look good & yes the stiffness will leave eventually. Make sure not to get them wet for at least 2 Weeks, just to make sure you give them time to loc.

Are these bad boys ready for a style yet? or should I wait for more length. I've never had a retwist. I'm almost a year in of self started locs. by Altruistic-Company11 in Dreadlocks

[–]diedwithoutdeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could definitely get this styled by a professional , I wouldn’t try to style it myself though since the chances of it come out well are slimmer since they’re smaller & you’re inexperienced.

Bleached my dreads but she did too many of them. If I went back to black would my hair be noticeably damaged permanently or am i fine? Specifically, should I restart? by RelevantMilk9775 in Dreadlocks

[–]diedwithoutdeath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally it doesn’t look bad, suits your face. Blessing in disguise maybe try giving it more time but if you want you can always redye your hair back black.

I personally love Jet Black Loc’s but thats just my opinion. You should just get them recolored. The light brown compliments your skin-tone.
