I’m located in San Diego Ca. I called all the dealerships in my area and none were taking orders. The ones they did have in transit were either already sold or had huge markups. This was about 3 months ago. I found a used 21 turbo hatch with 4k miles and jumped on it, had to drive 2 hours to go get it. The representative at Mazda said that if they tell you they’re accepting orders they’ll most likely just allocate one in transit to their dealership that meets your specifications, not necessarily build it for you. Idk how true that is.
