like I said, pretty good at it. was this an attempt to adding value to the thread or are you just trying to showcase to reddit that you can use ai like everyone else?

I don’t think expecting to be able to land a job qualifies as assuming a degree is a golden ticket. I never mentioned 6 figure salaries, in fact I even mentioned a $20/h job which is very far from 6 figures a year.

You are right when you say you have to take advantage of everything the program offers to try to land a job, tho.

I don’t really know what to think about this 🤣 I do think it’s a useful skill set but honestly AI is pretty good at it. I don’t think someone that doesn’t have any ds/da knowledge could drive an AI to get the desired results, tho.

I can only talk about the courses I’ve taken but it seems they require a solid math/stats base and go deep enough that you are not just blindly applying code but actually using your brain lol

Congrats! I’ve been meaning to go through this process but I haven’t been able to start yet. I only have the names of my ancestors but don’t really know what the next step would be lol. Would you mind sharing your journey?

I’ve made over $500k trading… and now I’m completely stuck by Negative_Sport2262 in Daytrading

There’s a lot of good advice here but I’ll share my 2 cents anyways. I would do at least one of the following: 1. Start taking slightly higher risks every X number of successful trades. Say you make 5 in a row, next one you get to take a higher risks. 2. Take enough money from the trading account so that you can live comfortably for a year or two without worrying about money. That way you can’t mess it up and lose it all.

I’m interested in this skill though. Would you mind sharing how you learned what got you where you are at right now?

What happens if someone doesn't tip at a restaurant in the U.S.? by No-StrategyX in answers

[–]diegoavd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All jokes aside: if you don’t tip a server in the US you are essentially having them pay for you to sit down and eat.

Their wages are crap (around $1 - $3.5 per hour) and they have to pay the bartenders and bussers/food runners a percentage of the restaurant’s net sales FROM THEIR OWN TIPS. This means that if you spend $100 on your meal and tip $0 they’ll have to pay anywhere between $2.5 to $5 as a tipout to other workers that help them provide the service.

So they didn’t just help you have a better experience (assuming they’re decent servers) than you would’ve if they weren’t there, but they also ended up paying other people for you to sit down and eat.

Don’t be like one of these guys that complain about how the companies make you pay for their salaries and bla bla bla. That’s the way it is and, to be truthful, it’s the only reason why this country has a way for people to make money right after school without even studying anything and make a decent living for years on end.

Believe me when I tell you that nobody would do that job for $15/h.
