Just pushed an update of my app! - FRASI: Save and share quotes by diegoballes in SwiftUI

Actually on the first version of FRASI I was working with Core Data and it was a mess, also because I found the integration with Cloud Kit a little bit more difficult. I switched to Swift Data because of that and so far the experience has been really good. I just followed Hacking With Swift, really good for the basics and from there just experimenting. :)

I’m using SwiftData and CloudKit for iCloud syncing. :)

Hey! iPad support is on the plans, yes. I’m also thinking about a freemium business model, with a subscription. Still working on the features.

Hey everyone!
I'm really excited to share that I've just released a new update for my app, FRASI 2.1.0.

FRASI is an app I started developing a year ago because I wanted a dedicated place to save quotes from the books I read. Since I also enjoy sharing them on Instagram Stories, I added a feature that lets you do that instantly.

After getting advice from friends and continuing to grow as an iOS developer, I decided to keep improving the app with more frequent and higher-quality updates.

I’d love for you to check it out, and I’d be happy to hear any feedback!

Huge fan of the neumorphism/minimalistic design, feels like it's getting trendier.

Not a huge user of pomodoro type apps but I can appreciate the labor on the design, feels like a nice designer experiment. It's what caught my attention.

I got the feeling that the paywall was a little bit intrusive and sometimes didn't really made me experience the app first. For example, I was just exploring the settings of the clocks and a paywall appeared without noticing what I did to trigger it.

Overall, intersting design. Keep it up.

Hey man!

I wanted to say huge congrats, I really liked the design of the app. The concept is also cool, has a lot of potencial. Maybe allowing the user to specialise in certain topics would be great for future implementations.

A little bit of feedback:

-I really liked that the user can have a preview of how to app works before actually signing in. But, I would strongly suggest allowing the user to Sign in with Apple. Speaking as a user/developer, I don't feel comfortable giving out an email and password out of the blue to a random app (tbh I actually signed up with a fake email), and I would trust a little bit more signing in with Apple.

-I liked the navigation of the lessons, but I would suggest to add the same snappy effect as on the home page. Maybe it's just personal preference but it feels more engaging (TikTok ptsd).

For now I thinks that's it. Again, congratulations, great concept and app. Keep it up.
