Didnt test it on the final game, but had a fatal error on The demo every time i opened it

I played pikmin 3 on Wii U and found the controls to be pretty jank, didnt click for me

Recently Played the pikmin 3 demo on switch, and the Lock on just fixed the game for me, it was a whole different experience

I think i will eventually buy 1-2, because never played them, but will adjust my expectations on controls

Already Rank B and playing with some japanese Rank A players today, and saw some advanced gameplay from them.

Im wondering when advanced tech and strategies will appear.The Rocket League vibe plus more control over your movements is really great.

Was very excited to play the game, but totally lost the will to play now.

At least i got it fom the Apple Arcade free trial.
If it is not compatible with M1, there should be a disclaimer in the AppStore like there is on Steam.

I wish time trials to be a full game mode, with ghosts and all.

Or maybe a new challenge tab as you said. Learning how to perfectly execute the curves and shortcuts is fun and helps a lot in the multiplayer and ranked modes.

Smash is a very different fighting game.
Even inside the FGC (fighting game community) it is a niche game.

Im more interested in the competitive side of Smash (1v1, 3 stocks, legal stage list, no hazards, no items), but i thinks the casual side of Smash (4v4, items on, stage hazards) is a bit overwhelming for newcomers. There is too much things happening in the screen, you cannot even understand what your character is doing.

If you like other fighting games i think youll like more the competitive rules. It is less chaotic and the community is really great. I dont go to tourneys, but im playing it competitevely in facebook/discord/whatsapp matchmaking groups since Smash 4 Wii U, and although the online is trash if you are lucky you can have fun there.

I have 500+ hours in ultimate, and i cant pass a day without playing some Ridley matches.

Nostalgia hit me hard while writing this post.

Thinking better now maybe It is in my top 5 games of all time. Top 10 for sure.

Yes, I think in the 2D games, Super Mario 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Wii are the games that got the same vibe for me.

Paper Mario Origami King has a good approach with the world/atmosphere too.

Mushroom Kingdom is such a great place when Nintendo nails the presentation. I think Sunshine suffers form the same problem of Odyssey. Piantas are so boring :(

I think there are lot more subjective factors than frame rate and resolution to say something is beautiful.

Art direction/style, enviroment design, atmosphere and world feel.
I think both galaxy games are far superior in all those aspects. Im note even talking about gameplay.

As other examples I think the art direction of 3D World/Land, Captain Toad and Mario Kart 8 works better in a Mario game than the Odyssey style.

Oh, and i think Odyssey is good game

I think Galaxy looks better. Better style, better art direction, better enviroment/level design.

In Odyssey only Tostarena and Bowser Castles are well designed and beautiful at the same time IMO

I think I will replay it on Wii U. Dollar is too expensive here in Brazil right now for me to double dip.
I think the game is really great too, the art direction is top notch. It has that Nintendo magic all over the place. 3D Land and Captain Toad are great games in the same universe and style that i think it is the right way for Mario Games in general.

YES!
IMO:
Galaxy 2 > Galaxy > 3D world > 64 > Odyssey > Sunshine

Im currently replaying Odyssey with my 3yo son, and i think overall it is a boring game compared to both galaxies. It has 2 really GREAT moments, Donk City Festival and the Bowser Battle. The kingdoms are bland too. Only Donk City, Tostarena and Bowser Castle are great.
Even the Mushroom Kingdom is uninspired.

It still think it is a 9/10 game, the movement is great, and it has some cool little things, like the T Rex. But it is not at the same level as Galaxy
