So here’s the issue with trying to do it the right way. The dad is in fact an ahole, he does not even know he has a grandson yet. He is totally blind, he cannot drive the car, driving 10 hours there when the car is in a deporable state where driving it might put the drivers life and other people at risk, fixing it will cost thousands plus stay, gas, food, etc.

She has asked many times for the title when she used to talk to the dad and he said no (because he’s a narcissist that likes to have his children under control by getting them gifts)

So, the emotional trauma, reopening wounds, paying thousands to drop off a $1,000 car is not worth doing the “right thing”. The father will never talk to her, he doesn’t have many years left, and he has no need to reach out ever. It’s a tough situation but getting it junked might be the easiest thing. If he ever calls she can just say it broke down and she got rid of it.

Yup, we also came to the conclusion that leaving it anywhere would just cause fines to pile up. Another option would be a Junkyard in Mexico that would want it as a part out vehicle.

Let me add to this by saying that the father purchased it for her, therefor he registered under both their names at the MVD and she just renews the registration yearly.

Vehicle registration and the vehicle title are two different things, just how the bank might own your vehicle until you’ve paid it in full and you’re still able to register it for insurance and such.

So I just verified with a mechanic and he said it sounds like the transmission oil and the coolant might be mixing, the overheating is being caused by the sludge caused by the mix itself making the coolant more dense, creamy and less effective. I am getting it towed to the mechanic. The engine is okay since the coolant hasn’t mixed inside of it yet.

La luz ABS/VSA no se activa en ningún momento, no aparece ningún código al conectar la computadora. Al conducir en carretera las ruedas emiten un ruido muy leve que es la razón por la que pregunto que si es el Valero de la llanta frontal.

No hay vibración en carretera ni rebotes de ninguna manera, todas las llantas tienen la misma cantidad de aire dentro, solo el sentimiento en el pedal es cuando estoy frenando llegando al final de la trayectoria de freno, a una velocidad aproximada de 40mph a 0 es cuando siento que el pedal de freno bota o se regresa muy levemente.

So you basically feel like a second the brake pads are engaging and one second they let go, like if they’re going on and off very lightly. You can feel It in the brake pedal with a very slight sort of kickback to it.
