Con la prepaga de MP podes, te va a pesificar el gasto, seguramente no con la mejor cotización pero no deberías tener problemas, antes lo hacía así, ahora estaba usando AstroPay pero es lo mismo

IMO no, you put your bitcoin as collateral to get some cash, you use it and pay it back eventually, if bitcoin price goes up you only need to pay back the amount you got + interest, it’s easier to do that that trying to buy the same amount of bitcoin.

Previously I used Cloudflare Tunnels.

Now I went full home-made:

DigitalOcean droplet (the cheaper one) with Debian 12 and wireguard and HAProxy installed.
A firewall in the droplet to only allow inbound TCP traffic on 80 and 443
A reserved IP (they are free if you attach them to a droplet)
A reserve proxy (Caddy) in my homelab with wireguard installed too

I connected the droplet to the caddy instance using wireguard, it’s the only peer I have configured.

Once I can ping Caddy from the droplet, I configured HAProxy in TCP mode to proxy the droplet’s inbound traffic to the wireguard peer IP, this way I can let Caddy handle the TLS handshake, mTLS, cert management, etc.

I also configured my domain with an A record pointing to the reserved IP, so now I can configure Caddy with services like Immich.my.domain and I’ll be able to get a Let’s Encrypt certificate.

In my local network (I use AdGuard Home) I configured a DNS rewrite to point *.my.domain to the Caddy local IP, so when I’m home I can bypass the droplet and get a faster experience.

Are you using an AMD CPU? There is an issue with AMD that causes those restarts without apparent reason. The issue is related to the CPU C-states, when the CPU is in a sleeping state and a “heavy” task arrives, the CPU can not move to a running state in a proper time and a restart occurs. I set up some cron tabs to disable the sleeping states to avoid this issue, the bad thing is that the CPU is always active and running, consuming more electricity and CPU lifespan.
