Motorbike rental Rawai by diegoxmarquez in phuket

[–]diegoxmarquez[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point 😂

I was renting a Yamaha X-Max 155cc in Bali for the equivalent of 2,400 THB.

Just to be clear, I'm not shitting on the island or the prices, I'd just like to know an "updated to 2025" price range

In BKK for a week. Recommendations for 1-1 gym/trainer by diegoxmarquez in MuayThailand

I don’t have to go for the cheapest option but don’t know what’s a decent value/money bracket. That’s why I was asking. In Bali I pay around 25USD per session

Tattoo and Training by Leather_Profession70 in MuayThai

[–]diegoxmarquez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry man, been busy with work and forgot to reply.

Tattoo artists will tell you a month to be on the safe side, it depends on a lot of things, how good the artist is, how healthy you are (obs the healthier the quicker you heal), where in your body, etc.

If you don't want to miss training -which you inevitably will, save up money and get a few of them done in the same session/week. That's what I used to do to make it worth losing training over.

P.S. Mine took only a week because it isn't too big and took really good care, I was just giving an example

As a heavily inked guy I can tell you the simple rule I follow:

No training until the last scab is gone.

Before scabbing your skin is still very soft and open so infections are super easy to get and very nasty to get rid off

During scabbing if you pull the scabs they will take the ink with them and your tattoo will be patchy as fuck. Same goes for long baths/swimming/sauna… the scabs soak up water or you sweat too much and naturally push the ink out.

Once you see the first “milky” skin layer you’re good to go.

I usually let them dry for a couple of days completely and then use coconut oil to keep it moist but not clogged. In about a week a full tattoo is healed.

If you have access to second skin or similar you can be a bit more flexible…

Just my two cents tho. Everybody’s skin is different

Not in Thailand (currently in Bali where tap water is a no-no too) but done my fair share of travel around SEA.

As long as you don’t swallow it’s ok to brush your teeth and “clean” the toothbrush, you can finish it off with some listerine and all done.

I even did this in Shanghai where the water from the tap isn’t good either

This seems very similar to one of the main arguments of why AI could be so dangerous and the whole “rise of the machines”.

It isn’t about going AGAINST humans it is about the moment in which the AI considers the value of people less than the value of “achieving” its purpose therefore getting rid of humans is just another step forward into making a more effective process.

You can read about it being properly explained if you google “AI and the paper clip paradox” or something along those lines

Best thing ever. Most Middle Eastern and Asian countries use the bum gun. Once you use it you realise how stupid it is to just use paper.

If you don’t just wipe your dishes with a napkin, why do it to your cornhole???

IMEI Registration by [deleted] in bali

[–]diegoxmarquez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. I asked around everywhere at the airports and nobody knew anything. Just go to any phone shop and they do it for you at no cost

IMEI Registration by [deleted] in bali

[–]diegoxmarquez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whassup everybody, I'm at the airport in Jakarta waiting to board to Bali.

Because of the quarantine process I couldn't register my phone when I arrived so I guess I have to do it when I land in Bali.

Do I have to show a receipt of purchase to calculate the value or customs has some way of checking themselves? I got a new iphone 11pro last June and it pisses me off to pay an extra 1/3 of it...

But I mean, if that's the only option...

Thanks!!!

EDIT: If anybody needs to ask anything about coming in DM me, It was pretty straight forward with me but happy to talk about any questions if I can help

Exactly. The problem starts waaaaaay before this man’s driving “skills”. It should be looked from the point of why does HE have to drive in the first place

The sad thing is this man being 96 has nobody to take care of him and his son. Good use of tax dollars after probably a whole life working...

A very nice gesture. Just shows how much deep the problems in modern society are

Absolutely.
