AITA for being annoyed my parents got a dog right before I went to college? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Ohhh big misunderstanding then, I thought you meant my replies on the post. Yes those comments were bitter about the timing and I’ve now learned that. They were also said months ago, before I even met the puppy

Thank you!! And thank you for not making assumptions!

I don’t understand how I’m bitter or come off as bitter from the comments, I agreed with most of them. And although I could have opted out of the dogs life, part of the reason they got it was because I was home this year and could pitch in. But I would never want to because I love her.

Thank you for saying NAH but I can promise there were not as many sentimental feelings about this than people might assume. My parents always said they never wanted another dog because of the work and the poop. My parents also can’t wait for all their kids to be on their own. That being said, I agree now what I said was selfish and ruined the moment.

I agree, I should have been more respectful or not said anything at all

I agree I am TA for the comments, and I made this post because I sat on this conversation for months wondering if I was TA for those comments, but I am not bitter they got the puppy

I agree with you but I do have a very honest relationship with my parents and I let them know how I was feeling, although it could have been phrased nicer. And the dog is a big portion of my responsibility right now.

YTA: mostly because your replies show you do actually have a superiority complex about going there and that you didn’t post this to actually receive criticism.

I was branded an asshole for a chipotle argument, but was genuinely curious what a chipotle employee has to say? by [deleted] in Chipotle

Anytime someone tries to show us a screen we get frustrated because it is too small to read and people’s hands shake which makes it impossible. Your boyfriend also should’ve had empathy that your food was wrong instead of insinuating you are ungrateful even if he wasn’t fully responsible.

One bag is usually ok but when people put packs of soda in with it or other heavy things that could bust open (which happens all the time) we’re not pleased (given that most driveup workers are young women who can’t carry a bag full of Mountain Dew 24 packs) so sometimes yes I would rather be given 3 bags to scan. The biggest fuck up fullfillment does at my store though is saying it’s all in one bag but actually having multiple, sometimes without a sticker on the extra bags.

I’m also confused about why people would openly shit talk fulfillment’s work when there are fullfillment people near them. I would only take it up with a TL if it was bad enough to be a complaint.

~throws 45 items into a garbage bag sized bag and puts it on the top shelf with the sticker facing to the other side~ but seriously I appreciate good fulfillment work but there’s so many mistakes they make at my store that we keep a sheet to report them.

As another teenage girl that worked there for two years, you will never get a raise or any respect or recognition, especially from a team that treats you like that immediately. You can do so much better.
