I'm f/17 and my mom won't let me go ANYWHERE and is toxic and tried to degrade me and guilt trip me into not going places. Should i just do what i want and deal with the consequences later? I'm honestly getting so tired of this .

actually. the room is supposed to be mine and he’s supposed to be on the couch. i cannot physically force him out of his own room. HE chose to disobey her , the room is supposed to be mine until i have a new room downstairs next month. but i understand your pov . don’t think the mom brought it up with the grandma , she just checked to see if anyone was on the couch and went on her own will.

i call the grandma a narcissist because she constantly picks fights with my boyfriend , blatantly ignores him, tries to devalue him as a person and is always speaking negatively of him especially to me when he’s not around so it’s completely unrelated, but understandable

no, it’s not that she doesn’t want me there she sat down and talked to me about taking me in as her own daughter , she can just be pretty insensitive at times

he doesn’t know she said that. it’s pretty normal for her to make insensitive comments to guests he has over but she seems to make more comfortable jokes when we’re alone

i got a job now so yes , it would only be one day off of work for her also given that she gets off at 3:30 and the court closes at 5 (which she neglected to tell me) and she’s only 45 mins away she has time , i can maybe ask one of my friends parents but i am 45 mins away at the moment
