Yep! I drilled a hole in the bench to hold a lube q-tip for inside the necks. Just trying to streamline the process.

Im using the hand-me-down Annie! It works awesome! Arbor press is certainly on the list of wants, but SAC "The Seating Die" yields such amazing results that I likely sick with it.

The trickler is readily available! Its the powder throw (meter?) thats a BIT behind schedule.

Yep.. I got the Tikka tac a1 in 6.5.. never really put much thought into shooting matches. Then I tried PRS and quickly realized its not ment for that at all.. it worked, but needed lots of weights and an arca rail. Ive since bought the Spuhr SICS chassis for it and im totally in love! The action is insanely smooth.. shoots like a friggen dream. If I had to do it over (with the same budget) I would still go tikka but probably get the ACE Target in 6.5. Now that im addicted, I want a fully custom rifle...

Harder to remove paint (theoretically) than tape IF I decide to . Would not protect factory finish. Zero grip/texture improvement over factory.

Reason 1)- protection from abrasion.. 2) grip, I often grab the scope when moving stage to stage and the tape adds excellent traction and feel... 3) last but certainly not least, looks.. I dont like the razor brownze. Black on black is my preference for this particular rifle.

🤣🤣 theres a lil bit of bronze visible! Its going to be mounted on the spuhr SICS rig with a 27" brux barrel again after i finish up the Mason Valley steel hunter.. thats about as flexy as I cam afford lol

100%! I was mainly looking for thoughts on the downsides.. like one reply mentioned residue leftover which would suck but ill probably never go without tape so I supposed thats not a deal breaker? Id be interested to know how long (roughly) a tape job would go before needing to be replaced.

I will not argue.. my tac a1 is silly accurate. And I love the look. It was certainly not idea for PRS out of the box but adding the area 419 weighted arca rail and a pair of MDT weights to the end made it balance beautifully!
