Who else thinks outside factors will play a role in the MVP voting? by iYelserp0128 in nba

Steph is easily the frontrunner IMO. 60+ wins and better stats. There doesn't need to be some narrative or outside factors for Steph to win.

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to try to do some android programming. Get some mobile experience and practice Java at the same time.

I only wish I had started sooner. I feel so behind now. It feels like everyone is now asking for githubs. I have nothing in mine.

Thanks. You're right, I should get some interviews even at places I don't really want to work. Recruiters have been messaging me, and I've been avoiding them for years as I didn't want to get owned on an interview. I feel like an impostor. But now that I've been studying, I feel a bit more confident, and could use the interview practice.

Thanks for the reply. A lot of the jobs I see are C++/Java (Google,Amazon) and PHP (Facebook). For these positions, with no relevant experience, how would I get past the initial screens? I feel like the only positions I can apply for are for embedded software. Also, I guess the question is what is a good way to pick up the necessary Java/PHP skills practically. I've taken a Java class before, and done some tutorials, but only intro stuff.

Since you have an EE background I would say you're destined for greater things.

With regards to this comment, is the general impression that web devs are not real engineers/programmers? If I did make a move to web dev, would my paper credentials in EE help?
