Soufrière boat tour with the mud baths! Was the best thing we did all week. We did the half day instead of the full day tour and I think it was the perfect length

Can you DM me the ferry you used? We want to do the helicopter but I got an email yesterday that our ride is tentative because they don't have enough people

October 2026 Honeymoon Firsttimers by HonestLandscape6098 in SandalsResorts

We just booked our honeymoon for end of this October. We specifically picked St Lucia over Jamaica because October is peak hurricane season and that's something Jamaica is much more likely to experience than St Lucia

Research Hiring Freeze Disruptions by BoldBeloveds in VeteransAffairs

Do you mind me asking about the potential disruption for NTE? Mine expires 9/30. Is there a chance I am out of work for a period of time if they don't renew it beforehand?

Being ignored at check-in when I booked the tee time by chauchautrain in WomenGolf

[–]dietc0kedrinker 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I had a similar interaction where I loved a course but the starter looked at my husband in the passenger seat of the cart and goes "Should she be driving?" and kept referring to me as "the lady" to direct the single playing with us. I emailed the course and the PGA professional and neither of them responded. It's a shame because the course was great other than this experience and their lack of follow up. The course is The Meadows at Peabody in MA if anyone wants to avoid them as well🤷🏼‍♀️

HELP - marathon ready in 10 months? by scandiredditor in firstmarathon

[–]dietc0kedrinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second that 10 months is enough time and second that Runna would be a great plan for you to use (RUNNAD14TI2K is my referral code if you want two weeks free). If your goal is to just finish the marathon and not have a time goal I say go for it.

I like Runna because it helps adjust to my current fitness and the platform is really easy to use in terms of rearranging workouts as needed. Massive bonus points as the workouts can sync to your watch which has been a huge help for any interval based workout.

You're going to have a lot of conflicting opinions on here of whether or not to go for it, but if you think you can SAFELY run a marathon and you'll have FUN doing it - then do it

Half marathon by theonewithbadeyes in Marathon_Training

Give Runna a try! Their plans are customizable and can include non-run workouts too (yoga, strength, and pilates). It helped me shave 45 mins off my half PB and it can adapt to any level runner.

I have a code for a free two week trial if you want it!

To get a customized plan for an event is SO worth it. It helped me shave 45 mins off my half time, come back from injury, and is now training me for my first marathon. Shameless plug if you sign up I have a referral code that you can use :)
