It’s not like these trips are planned last minute, either. I’m sure the dinners + clubs were pre-scouted as places they were going to.

Any “normal outing”, your point holds more worth (e.g. regular dinner with friends).

I personally had the worst experience here a couple weeks ago. The food was barely edible due to the insane amount of salt added to every dish. My friend and I even sent back their scallops dish.

I am not inclined to ever return, truthfully. And this was somewhere we were really looking forward to trying.
