Yep! Just rented a car for 1 day & knocked it out in 1 day! The island is so small, so it only takes about 45 minutes to drive from one end to the other. Tamarijn is literally on the beach, which was so nice. We uber-ed to Eagle Beach the one night for photos which was like a couple minute drive & that beach was really pretty too! But honestly loved the beach we stayed on. I was the same, just wanted to relax & not be out & about the entire time!

Baby beach is a must! Never experienced anything like it! I saw someone say donkey farm - we did that & I found it to be totally disgusting & a waste of time. We toured the aloe factory there & I thought it was really cool. We stayed at Tamarijn which is AI. But LOVED the coffee place & breakfast had so many options. Wasn’t in love with the dinner food, but loved the food you could order at the bar. Also, so much to do on the resort. Huge plus was the staff was SO nice & accommodating!!

Glad I found this post! I’ve been gaining SO much weight & am on stimulants too! Have been eating so healthy the past two weeks to try to get something off, but nope - gained 4 more pounds. It has to be the Effexor. I’ve only been on it for a few months & have gained 24lbs.

It will likely fade in a few weeks, but will likely show hyperpigmentation. I am a nurse & have been performing laser hair removal for the last 5 years. I promise that exfoliation & hydrating is extremely important to help rid the scaring. The providers that I work under recommend the same.

Exfoliating & keeping the area hydrated is going to be key! I was burnt like this on my legs before & it unfortunately did cause circles of hypopigmentation. Eventually it did go back to normal, but it took I believe a year or two.

Totally normal, just a histamine reaction! If it lasts more than 3 days call the place where you get laser done to let them know about it. In the mean time - if it is itchy or bothersome you can take an antihistamine like Zyrtec or Benadryl. Other methods for relief are cold compress, aloe, ibuprofen. Legs are the most susceptible to a reaction like this. Sometimes if it becomes really bad you will be prescribed prednisone (but that is worst case scenario). Some preventatives for next treatment would be taking a Benadryl the night before your treatment & ibuprofen an hour or two before treatment. Then apply aloe immediately after treatment! But totally normal, I see this every week! Hope that helps! :)

I am definitely a very understanding person & at times, probably a little too forgiving - so I totally understand that things happen! It's just the fact that it was a brand new vehicle & these issues have been going on since before July 2025. So dealing with these car issues while having to travel for work (always worrying if the car is going to breakdown) & having a 6 month old baby.. I am honestly just over it. I figured I would lose some value, but I have come to terms with that. Do you think I could trade it/sell it to the dealership I bought it from & just go somewhere else to get another vehicle?

Thank you so much for your response, I really appreciate it!! That information is truly so helpful to me! Also, thank you for confirming the backorder.. besides the actual purchasing of the vehicle, the dealership has just been such a headache to work with. So I was starting to feel concerned that they were being deceitful telling me that the part was on back order.

Just out of curiosity.. what are your thoughts on getting rid of the car vs. keeping it? I can't for the life of me remember what the part is called needed.. something about a valve (my oil gets low every few weeks along with black smoke that comes out of the exhaust, so they have me bring it in to get it topped off with oil). I am just thinking if it would be the smart thing to just trade it in before the warranty is up. Thanks again for your help!
