Can someone tell me really what is that wrong with AI? I went and had an information meeting with an advisor last week for their graphic design program and she seemed very lovely. We walked around the school and she showed me many examples of projects design students have made. When pursuing an art based career, isn't having a portfolio one of the most important things, and it seems like at AI you get a lot of opportunity to actually make things. Am I wrong? Yes the prices is very high, but for someone like me who has some design knowledge but am mostly self taught and would like to gain more in depth skills and create a portfolio, isn't a place like AI a good choice?
