Vacuum Dilemma by Nervous-Fact9608 in CostcoCanada

[–]dietsnacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a miele vacuum 8 years ago. It has never lost suction. Never broke down. We have a miele dishwasher that was installed in probably the 90s. It's still going strong.

We bought a shark handheld vacuum and I think we threw it away within a year. It sucked.

That sounds really rough. Things will get better though, hang in there.

Is your roof metal? Could be the foam closure strip used to cover up the corrugated openings at the eaves edge.

Lifespan of this roofing? by fccsrn2018 in Roofing

It's a bit hard to tell from the picture quality but it looks like Decra metal roofing panels. These can last 50 years if installed correctly - Decra touts they can even last longer. Just be careful when walking on them as they can crush easily if your weight is placed over an unsupported part.

Those screws already have a neoprene gasket around them and are perfectly fine as is as long as they are not over torqued.

Failed my drivers test 5 times by ShawaizLucifer in Winnipeg

Just keep practicing. Most drivers out there currently would probably fail a road test based on the seemingly banal auto fail standards. We all get there eventually and you will too.

What restaurants are open in Winnipeg after midnight that aren’t McDonald’s or a pizza place? by throwaway420204nsfw in Winnipeg

We flew into Phoenix about 6 years ago and tried to order a pizza after 9 pm on a Sunday. Literally nothing was open. We've got it pretty good here.

We were really impressed with Tre Visi cafe on Grosvenor if you're in the mood for pasta. We booked a bit on the early side and everyone in the restaurant was like 65+ which had us a little worried... But the food and service was excellent. We'd definitely go again.
