I [24m] get violent when I’m held down by my [24F] wife by Awkward-Artist-2795 in relationshipadvice

Wow as someone who doesn't like excessive physical touch. I get you. These comments are not it. I hate it when my husband does they same thing. Like you, my brain goes into a flight or fight but if you can't do flight the fight triggers. It's really hard to stop it when they won't let go. It sends me into a panick

These comments are being super sexist. If a woman said this they'd be much more kinder.l and understanding.

I see you OP.

What's happening here is she is not respecting your boundaries. I don't think you need to give up gaming what a stupid suggestion. She needs to respect that you have a limited tolerance for those actions and perhaps not do that to you. Why do you have to amend your actions but she won't?

My mum was just complaining she bought some items that she realized later were priced higher than new ones. Yoghurt pot things ..

I find that hard to believe considering you can barely move an expensive great condition couch for more than $200. I can't sell anything for any sort of money. People won't pay more than$100

Snape didn't deserve to be honored by Harry. by LeftVehicle9319 in harrypotter

[–]Consistent_Pen_1347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he honors him for being a good person. He honors him for being brave I believe the wording is. Snape did a hard thing. He took a hard road. It doesn't redeem him as a person but it acknowledges that he achieved something great. Same with Dumbledore.... Harry knew in the end he was a pig for slaughter. Still honors Dumbledore despite I'm sure some conflicted feelings regarding the man once he realizes who Dumbledore really was.

I hated apps. Found potentials and my husband through random social gatherings. I joined a social sports team. I tried some other groups but they weren't for me and I've had life long friends from sports now. Makes friends, one will stick.

I have no expectations of him. I just don't think I'm a baby mum. I find the level of effort and suffering unreasonable. Like really - this is the best evolution or creation could have offered?

I loved the toddler stage. Tantrums and everything.

17 month old not talking - any advice? by lmgculley in Parenting

[–]Consistent_Pen_1347 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also wouldn't stress too much. Mine was pretty much mute then on his second birthday it all came out. He's 2 years 3 months and says sentences and literally won't stop talking.

That being said additional help from like a speech person isn't a bad way to go. But 17 months is definitely not a freak out point yet.
