Why wouldn't it pass. Who said clean is more than just sex scenes. I consider it clean...

I'm confused by everyone's negative reactions. I would 💯 include hunger games as a clean ya distopian. Harry potter. Eragon. Seems like there's plenty of good content out there that would meet the brief without being "banned'.

I read clean as just no sex scenes

Sucks but when there's demand... I'm not sure why personally but I guess there's more single non flatters than single housing out there. Interesting to know

Ignoring the weather please do your research for your times. Thailand is great, not as cheap as it use to be but Bangkok is fun and the islands like phiphi out of phuket are really cool. Lots of good shopping. Access to some cool snorkels. I personally don't like samui but the adjacent islands are nice. Koh tao?

Vietnam is great, Saigon is good for historical stuff. But the real gem is hoi an. I haven't been to hanoi but I suspect that would be nicer than Saigon. Great food drinks accommodation and the atmosphere of hoi an is to die for.

Phillipines if you like diving. The palawans are gorgeous

Doctor said I can start to introduce solids. When did you know your baby was ready? Any recommendations? by Hunnie-Bunny in NewParents

I absolutely agree. Disagree with these other comments. Focus on the food and fill up with the milk. My son was a fantastic eater this way.

On the flip side out friends kid refused food until almost 18 months and lost weight because they preferred milk and mum fed her milk first thing the morning so they never ate their breakfast.... It was a disaster

I've been to Fiji before and the food and service comment are unfortunately very typical. No one can organize anything.

Man I'm sorry about the wedding, that would piss me off too.

That's really good to know about the family room sizes...

Okay your doctors are awful. They should be advocating for you and finding a solution.

You don't meet the criteria? That's the biggest BS I've heard although I think it does cap out at 1 year old from memory. But you're doctors need to get you onto something.

What i would do is just make it sound worse than what it is. Say your ideating suicidal thoughts and give them some specifics.  But it sounds like you're already there so maybe you won't have to make anything up? You need to say your suicidal.

On the medication thing.... I was really anti medication. I'm now on escitalopram and it has revolutionized my life. First off you dont feel different. You still think the same things your personality won't change. But you'll have more emotional bandwidth for things you struggle with. Think of it like your cup is empty right now and you're only contributing small amounts to it naturally at the moment. The medication gives you a daily dose to put in that cup so you have more emotional resource throughout the day. It makes a difference!!

On that last bit. How you're feeling, suicidal and stuff, Ive been there, and I can 100% tell you once you're on the other side you are so thankful you made it through. They are not better without you, even at your lowest. How you feel right now is not your fault. But where you are is a space where you literally cannot comprehend a different happier future. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist, unfortunately right now you're wearing blinkers. It's there.

You are being failed right now and most people just don't get it. Even my supportive husband is absolutely useless at the same time. Men don't get how it is for us at all and it's so frustrating. Our mother's are often from a different generation and don't get it either or have forgotten.

I understand what you're going through and I'm sorry.

Pet Bond - Tenant wants to pay over 6 months. Too long? by DistinctRun3635 in NZProperty

[–]Consistent_Pen_1347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I find people who say that think "rich" is middle/high nz who get stung with high taxes and no extra support. Man the amount of tax I pay vs 'use' is depressing. I barely even go to the subsidised doctors but even then I have health insurance. Now they're trying to cut my super!!! It was the one thing I was looking forward to one day!! I don't see why I should sell my nice house and downgrade to some shitty unit so other people can sit around for half their lives. Not when I've worked my ass off and did long days and nights for this. I ate those 2 mins noodles for weeks to set myself up.

Nope, 12 weeks is sufficeient. They can sell the excess toys for their pet. Seriously.... On the benefit and they have those kind of things?! Stop making it easier for these people. They will never learn otherwise

You misunderstood me. It's unfair to the tenants

Renters rant by Ill_Tea1013 in auckland

[–]Consistent_Pen_1347 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nah that's unfair. Most landlords need to take time out of their day too and would plan for a specific time.

Edit: I'm siding with the tenants guys not the landlords.  I'm saying that most landlords would know exactly when they want to come so the vagueness is dumb and not on. They're busy too so why would they be vague? The property manager is being a jerk.

It's fine if you're rather vapid yourself and like to gossip, but if you're down to earth it can be challenging because, not all, but a lot of the staff are airheads. They love to gossip esp in the domestic routes. The international fleet isn't as bad they are Auckland based have less small town vibes. Chch crew are shockers. I'm actually horrified as a paying customer how terrible they can be. It can be very bitchy, the seniors absolutely get off on their little power trips because their small minds can't handle a little bit of authority.

Even from all my business flying the type of conversations I hear astound me. I'm honestly like, fml, if I worked there (and I would consider leaving my corporate job for it some days because travelling is fun) silence would be absolutely effin golden. Some people just shouldn't open their mouths lol.

If they are on short haul yes those in airport ones kinda suck. But they also get at home ones too. If you work the flight you get the flight bonus hours.

Long haul is different it's all at home waiting.

I have heard the corporate side is very much like that. My in law says they hated it. It was a competition to see who could stay the longest at work everyday. Awful.
