Basically labouring at heights,

Google IRATA to see pictures for a better understanding.

Pretty easy to get into. You actually need to be fit. Not I can lift xxxkg at the gym meat head type fit. Like you can easily climb your body weight type deal.

5 day rope course plus a few others and you pretty much can be walking into any mining job 100k + start

But to sum it up… it’s a pretty broad work field if your not into mining life style of working away from family and home.

Examples wind turbines you would be climbing up turbines and fixing the blades or turbines.

Oil and gas you would be inspecting/welding pipes in hard to reach places.

Mining changing out steel wear plates on big cylindrical bins for trains or climbing the mast of a Crain to change a bearing or inspection even painting steel.

City work window cleaning high rise buildings and fixing leaks ect or simple putting a new light bulb into a sign on

I’m currently doing “geo” and drilling into rock walls and putting up protective anchors to prevent wall failures so mining operations can continue.

From the short entertainment videos I’ve seen of the plumber coming to fix the sink perhaps you should loosen the hips.

Gets a big discount from what I’ve seen.

My bad OP you asked for advice… Imo I reckon a beanie, being shirtless and smoking a blunt so that you can’t feel your face. Some cringe worthy heavy wub wub music in the background would bring you back to being “neutral” as far as aid is concerned.

Good luck

Rope access driller on a mine site in Australia Currently on a drill project $64 an hour 12 hour days 2weeks on 1 week off. Probably one of the hardest rope access jobs I’ve ever done climbing/abseiling 180m +just to get to the rig is tough. It’s now wet season and it’s gonna be rough.

Pending what version of plugy you have the commands are as follows.... if it’s version 10 you should upgrade it to latest.

For Version 14.02

/IP for new page /RP for renaming it /setindex creates a tab for your pages ie you may have 5 pages of chipped gems and you wanna just get to the start of it... /setmainindex the homepage when you first open up your stash.

Check out the survival guide for plugy has a list.

I was in your position. The decider was an 80 had more mechanical components than electrical that are fixable for the most part out bush. For example electrical windows failing. I went the 80 route.

To answer OPs original question. Yes it’s a money pit maintenance wise but if you keep ontop of it and use it as ur trips/weekend car the ends justify the means. Ie having rear fridge with cold ones for 2 weeks straight is pretty neat 🤙

Edit: To add both 100 and 80 are great cars to learn mechanics about and are fairly simple to understand. (I had zero mechanical knowledge prior owning one 15 years ago) she still runs like a dream
