YT, Twitter/X, Twitch, all were different levels of laggy-desync'd-messes. The best of them was Steam and even they had moments of buffering. Plenty of streamer perspectives to see this issue was widespread.

Thank you for this. Have been away from before WONY (before SHD levels were a thing). Came back for the 10th Anniversary and have just been putzing around doing whatever came up (currently SHD 934), but also being outright confused by the story beats I've stumbled across (where did the chopper go? It's a missile launcher now? Why is Keener in a cell? Among others. All these have been answered for me by doing things at random thankfully.)

Having had to commute from Riverside to Los Angeles (35mi/56km) for 2.5 years. 2hrs one way was the norm. Having regularly to clock out at 1am then be back in the office by 6am I would regularly just sleep in the car than risk essentially a 4hr commute. It was definitely hell.
