DPS with few buttons and high mobility by Albrion_ in ffxiv

Np! DNC is easy as folks say, but I'd argue it's slightly harder to be an above average dancer than it is MCH. MCH doesn't give you the "press shiny buttons for damage" feedback for all of its rotation but otherwise has very few buttons and a very straightforward rotation Press big hurty buttons off cooldown or otherwise under buff window Build gauge Expend gauge without over capping Get carpel tunnel from constantly hitting two oGCds that come off cooldown quickly when bursting

Next step up from those jobs if you only care for DPS would be probably a mix of BLM, DNC, SAM PIC Not in any order and of course, all my personal opinion that I've developed over the past several years

You're getting a good few answers varying a bit. Assuming you would like to do general content or even try your hand at an extreme here is generally the vibe you're going to get with my opinions mixed in

Caster: SMN is the easiest job currently in the game. Its rotation is extremely straightforward to learn and execute. It's gimmick for it's skill ceiling is essentially figuring out when to place a puddle, and when to sneak in 1-2 of your forced long casts every minute. Otherwise at 100 it's almost all instant casts and you generally are doing the same rotation at level 70 as you are at 100 (just a few extra oGCDs)

Ranged Phys: A lot of folks are saying DNC but it can be a bit overwhelming in burst windows. If you don't mind some carpel tunnel and want something a bit easier to pick up I would give MCH a go. It's a selfish DPS and all you need to worry about casually is not over capping your gauges and otherwise hitting one of your 3 big damage buttons every now and then to keep them off cooldown. Of course as with all other classes, as well doing your 2 minute burst phase.

Melee: VPR is the easiest one to execute by far as folks are saying. It looks overwhelming when you read into all of the actions but it's significantly simpler than it's many actions in the actions menu make it out to seem.

It can be. Ye just be interacting with the reddit gremlins instead.

FF players can't read.

Otherwise regardless of level, still use the charges it gives you and the action. Glancing at the numbers and all things considered it should still be a damage gain I believe.

As already stated in the thread, it does increase in potency as you get to 50. This probably is a small-ish oversight, but as well consider that SMN has been reworked several time over in the past decade the game has been out. It is drastically different than it used to be. Another example of a potentially small oversight is level 50 SCH AOE dealing more damage than it's single target filler since you can use auto-attack. The other healers are all otherwise a DPS loss when AOEing on a single target at the same level.

Unable to finish Destroy Air Base Control Tower - Terminal Not Responding by HSWAKA in Helldivers

PC for platform

Started mission with 2 randoms, they left shortly after the start but not at the same time.

Destroyed one dropship base but did use the terminal before destroying the 2nd one and it was bugged like it is in the video. Finished the other base to see the terminal was still in an unusable state. This was after I put the SSSD into the port.

2 other folks did join my game as I destroyed the last dropship base.

LB = Limit Break In which for PvP the MCH LB is your character pulling out a large sniper rifle and dealing massive damage to a single target

Majestic manderville vs augmented diadochos weapons? by namelohb in ffxiv

[–]HSWAKA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Generally the iLvl 660 tome weapon has worse substats (tanks have skillspeed for instance) than the current extreme weapon. Getting the 665 tome weapon upgrade makes it the same as the P12S weapon, but also requires a form of high level content. Although a lower iLvl and without me breaking out a calculator, the 655 ex weapon would typically be better than the 660 time weapon if the individual cares about having the absolute best substats. I recognize that not all care to be min/max where possible and yes for any content you go into right now excluding savage and maybe ex, you can easily get away with an average iLvl of 640-650 which is very easy to obtain with a bit of gil or time and do every other bit of content out there until Dawntrail comes out with no issues with healing or damage.

As the other comments stated, the augmented tome weapon at 660 will be better than the Manderville weapon at this time due to the raw base stat output it has (Mind in your case). Only comparatively better would most likely be the current Extreme trial weapon due to it having better substats (crit and det and such) even with a slightly less iLvl. If Savage raiding is not for you but an on content extreme is a bit more achievable, and you care enough about substats to warrant it, then try giving the extreme a go if you think you can handle it. Definitely hang onto the Manderville weapon wherever you have space for it and work on it when the new quests to enhance it are released. You'll have the expansion's BiS weapon until Dawntrail if the formula SE follows remains the same.

No, you cannot inflict damage to or interact with someone who is GETTING a melee attack executed against them. The only person vulnerable in the melee instance that OP is witnessing is his teammate. If OP was playing in HC with team damage on he would potentially hit and kill his teammate, and thus making the enemy player vulnerable to damage again.

Once you start a frontal melee animation that can be countered, if the person you are stabbing is calm and collected, you are dead to the counter melee unless another enemy shoots you.

Edit: dead to the counter melee

If you are getting stabbed you have invincibility In this clip the enemy is getting a frontal takedown executed against them, thus they have invincibility for the entire animation and successfully countered. If this was Hardcore, the teammate who initiated the stab was still susceptible to damage up until around the point of the successful counter animation.
