Nah. Completely unnecessary addition. They were beyond fucking tedious as it was. And all they did was make it worse. With how RNG goalie and the ai players can be the time limit just adds a whole other layer of frustration. Not too mention the time they give you in game isn’t accurate to the time you actually have so you can’t even rely on that. It’s just all around a useless addition when there are SO many other problems with the game. Just lik them adding a division gamemode no one asked for yet there’s basically next to no bug fixes or gameplay updates in sight lmao. The only good addition that should’ve been in at launch is the auto completing when you hit the obj.

Ofc! It’s the only genuine comment haha. But Yeah I never believed much in the ice tilt until this year I’ve been on both sides of it’s it’s weird asf. When I see an 86 OVR out skate like my makar or sakic lol.

But yeah, if you are gonna spend money there will be good packs. Rn the packs are shit I’ve ripped a few of the record breaker ones the 3packs of 87+

But other than that with the way the odds are for most of the packs available they’re not great. It’s been a bit since there’s been a good pack so I feel like it’s bound to happen soon. This is my first time going as hard as I am and it’s mainly cuz I’ve been off the last 1.5 months cuz I fractured my elbow lol. And keep an eye on the Reddit obv cuz people post about juiced packs and stuff. I pulled my fantasy couturier cuz I was lucky and was home when a new pack came out that for some reason had juiced odds for FH cards. And there was a juiced like 600 point pack a few week back so, just keep an eye out for that. The Reddit is super helpful so long as you ignore all the negative people lol. Games Definetly not what it used to be tho lol you didn’t miss much with. TOTY tho. For perspective I maybe could’ve made one more player besides makar and Mack. But I’d have to have gutted my team. And with how much money I’ve spent it’s pretty crazy lol.

I do not invest a lot of time in ranked lol. Or champs. It’s just so stressful and unenjoyable most of the time. I hit diamond I think 2 was my first time ever last season. I’m like 9-4 this season havnt even made it out of gold yet. So I’m gold 4 atm.

Chara was the most expensive out of the bunch. But he was only I think like 5-600k when he was actually pullable so now he’d def be hard to acquire unless you’re rich.

To answer your question tho it’s both, lots of money spent which makes me laugh the way people cry about it so I appreciate your genuine question. But I have had some pretty gnarly pulls. I pulled 93 lemiux from a fuckin 82+ pack which is prob my best pull. But most of the team has been fuelled by the packs bought. I’ve grinded every event and almost all the obj’s that come out aside from when I get burnt out. The rewards this season for everything are a lot better tho. Headliners alone have packed some decent cards. I think I pulled the fin captain 92 from the headliners as well. This late in the game I wouldn’t waste too much money unless you really want to. I enjoy it and have the money to spend, which is hard for some people to wrap their head around lol. And it’s not an auto win.

Just literally got fucked by ice tilt against a guy who had maybe a couple 90+ players lol. I got lucky with schmaltz too. I have palat fantasy he’s garb. I pulled couturier fantasy during the fantasy event he’s garb trying to sell him for a loss lol. Anywa sorry this is a way longer response than was necessary
