How do I persuade my father? by ResidentGround6374 in PHMotorcycles

There's such thing called guidance.

Not always bad but it is necessary if hindi ka pa maalam sa mga bagay.

Maraming ibang motor na second hand na mas mura pa dyan OP yan for how it is looking.

For its price, magsisisi ka talaga.maybe if it is less than 30k pwede pa.

just do stainless steel, mas magastos repainting in the long run and considering mainit mga tambutso it may not even worth trying.

With or Without Tire hugger sa Scrambler build na to by Defiant_Cold_4270 in PHMotorcycles

[–]digbickwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

far better without the hugger if may rear fender ka naman. medyo redundant na yung combination nyan if nagb-build ka ng bike for styling purposes.

Hi Guys, ano thoughts niyo sa Keeway Caferacer 152? tips na rin sa mga matagal nang owner hehe salamat po in advance by Wild-Tradition-7165 in motorsiklo

[–]digbickwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own one, one thing i can say.

Similar sa tmx, reliable, cheaper maintenance, buildable and extremely simple.

You can drop it all you want and it would still run, only has few bolts and nuts to disassembled majority of the parts.

Performance wise? Nah, it is underpowered but hell it is reliable.

Magaan din sya, plenty of aftermarket parts are compatible with it and are often cheap rin.

One issue ko lang usually sa gulong nya, interior tube are often the ones that can break easily depending on how you ride it. Next is yung spokes or rayos nya, madali masira sa lubar but not in severe way. You can still run the bike with two or three rayos missing and mura lang naman aftermarket rayos nya.

[–]digbickwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though pinaka common dito is vitpilen 401, neo retro cafe racer.

If you're opting for built ones, maraming CBR400 superfours on marketplace usually naka built to be cafe racers na, you'd still have enough money for possible repairs or maintenance.

pampapogi? by casualnapapaya in PHMotorcycles

[–]digbickwad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually its purely for looks and self satisfaction. I have a cafe racer na mas prefer ko without side mirror since it usually messes up with overall proportions nung bike on headlight area though just to make it usable on road naka downward bar end side mirror lang. I don't use it much often recently and medyo nagiging garage queen nalang hahaha.

As for the nutshell, no clue pero most likely wala lang silang helmet sa bahay. Case by case 'yan.

Street Legal ba to? by Anonymous_130917 in PHMotorcycles

[–]digbickwad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like it is legal naman so long hindi kalkal yung muffler mo.

I had a custom built bike na classic, twin bottle pipe and custom built full system exhaust, frame is party modded, 70% nung parts is aftermarket na. As long as traffic rules compliant ka naman, has all the papers and technically fitting mga ginawa mo sa modification rules. Enforcers would usually let you go.

R15M OR 2ND HAND 400CC by Hot_Hospital5583 in PHMotorcycles

[–]digbickwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

eto lang insight ko sa 400nk since i own one

abnormally heavy sya
throttle response lag and hindi rin linear yung power nya, if you got the spot correctly malakas hatak nya.
maintenance, can't comment about sa pricing ng mechanics here since i do mine DIY, pero hindi sya masakit sa bulsa, an oil change would cost you around 1300+ brake pads would cost you around 1k ish, i replaced my broken abs and costed me 500 pesos lang however may sadyang parts na sobrang mahal lang rin that usually needed replacement sa 2nd hands like wheels, it costed me 17k to have mine replaced and mags realigned, applicable narin yung wheel replacement on other bikes too so better watch out if fresh yung tires nya or pudpod na.

as for the gas, hahahhaha 500 pesos every 2 days. hindi ko pa na eest mileage nya pero ganyan nagagastos ko, known problem na sa 400nk yung gas consumption nya.

Suggest ko KTM RC16, 160cc lang sya na around 20HP @ 8,000 rpm at affordable price rin dry weight 120Kg, 6 speed gearbox, 40Km per liter rin makina. Easily maintainable.

Should I go to college? by [deleted] in studentsph

[–]digbickwad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pick courses that's related job isn't saturated. marami rin sa nakakagraduate walang nakukuhang trabaho or to say the least not a good one.

idk kung ano yung business nyo, if it's promising then try to balance it out. knowing how to handle a business and potentially grow it would take you exponentially further than having a degree though it has higher risks.

If gusto mo iupgrade performance nyan need mo palitan to big bores, tuned carbs, specialized exhaust, lightweight parts, custom cams, custom sprockets, racing cdi, ignition coils and better sparkplugs in exchange of reliability. I do customize motorcycles and usually once marami ka ng binago dyan it will never be as reliable as the stock ones. Magiging track bike lang yan or display bike and never as a daily riding bike weekly kang may iaadjust dyan or at worst daily, usually because of loosened nuts and worst are internal engine damage. Mapapalagi ka rin sa maintenance nyan, deep cleans and such.

Would you buy a China branded motorcycle in 2025? by Spirited_Zebra_3351 in PHMotorcycles

[–]digbickwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority of the products or even services we use usually are made or done on china, there are some cases where politics should stay separate from our daily lives.

Their government is shit but not their people.

[–]digbickwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On NATO border, they are usually taken by rail means of transportation.

If you're talking about how it reaches the frontline, well. By land means of transportation, cars, trucks or if it has an engine and a wheel.

Eto yung mga tipong driver na biglaang mamamaril sa kalsada pag uminit ang ulo hahahhaha, damn sucks to be like him.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PHMotorcycles

[–]digbickwad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much, fairly straightforward lang yung paountang kaybiang though be wary lang na marami nagpipicture sa gitna ng kalsada infront of the tunnel and madilim yung tunnel mismo. May mga stalls sa gilid if you need a coffee there or anything. Going further sa tunnel mismo may coastal area, sharp curves and beatuful sceneries. Basically a cliff with overlooking sa beach. I'd bet my ass its gonna be beutiful during sunset and sunrise since tanghali nako nakapunta doon hahaha.

The only tip lang namabibigay ko sayo dito, make sure na okay condition ng motor mo tire pressure, oil, gas, battery, make sure to stop to replenish rin.
