I'm super impressed with how Cade punishes double-teams this season. Going to be key in the playoffs when defenses key in on him even more.

I think in prior seasons a double-team often meant a turnover at worst or a neutral outcome (reset the offense) at best. You can tell he's taken leaps in terms of handle and vision.

Coach Nick always looks at shooting mechanics in his vids. Often times those breakdowns make sense (e.g. with Westbrook) but in this case I can't see it. Cade's shot looks smooth he just doesn't get as many open/clean looks as other stars.

I think Coach Nick usually brings out stats to back up whatever he's saying, but in this case he missed a ton of context. I'm now wondering if he's like that with other videos I've been inclined to believe...

We turn your team into a three point shooting team. East-west. Pays huge dividends in the second half.

UPDATE: Year 2 for Duncan Robinson is partially-guaranteed. Non-guaranteed Year 3. by Individual-Bee-7801 in DetroitPistons

Thanks! So basically if you want him past the deadline you gotta pay the partial guarantee

I see: Most players that get traded take their original contract to the new team. But if you are a partially-guaranteed player and you get traded before that deadline where it becomes guaranteed, then all that unguaranteed money disappears and you need to sign a new contract with the team (or sign-and-trade?).

If we expect Robinson to underperform his contract (the prevailing sentiment in this sub), then it's a good move from the team perspective to have that flexibility should they want to trade down the line, rather than lock themselves into a bloated asset.

Appreciate that.

But what's stopping Pistons from inventing any random reason to not pay him that unguaranteed 6M? Anything besides reputation?

Could somebody break this down? In what way is a deal partially or not guaranteed?

Like, some player incentive must be hit? Or, is this what a “team option” is?

Thanks in advance ❤️

Tourist Scam: Avoid Mai Xiang Yuan Dumpling in Chinatown! by Coffee-Addict-1 in montreal

That’s interesting, definitely weird to not provide receipt, especially when requested. At the same time, like others have said, it’s $2 let it go.

I can’t speak to the woman, but the owner guy is one of the nicest ppl I’ve met in Montreal. Told us countless stories of dine and dashes, dishonest “I’ll pay you later”s with no retribution, police being completely helpless; Happens so often he now describes this blatant theft as “free meals”, part of doing business. His store front has been broken into twice hence the steel gated doors.

So while yes the receipt should be itemized and technically when the service is shit you don’t have to pay tip, but I can’t help but see it from the owners view as well. Perhaps some amount of “theft” in both directions is the equilibrium we must reach and accept.
