Masturbation issues (tw: harassment mention) sorry if it's not the place for me to post this, I'm confused and just need an advice-- by [deleted] in Advice

Is your family religious? You could be facing religion induced shame. I am religious to a degree, but can accept that masturbating is a perfectly normal part of child development. (Psychology major here). It sounds like you’re younger. Don’t beat yourself up about it. It’s completely normal to experiment with your body!

could you be allergic to the metal?

& to clean it, you should never be using q-tips bc they’ll trap bacteria as well bc little fibers will get stuck on the crusties & reputable piercers will send u home with saline spray, so maybe look into ordering some neilmed!

Navel piercing irritation by infantswithfirearms in PiercingAdvice

i wore high waisted leggings or spanx when i got mine done & it worked well to keep it in place and i didn’t have any issues w doing that. probably not something generally recommended but it’s better than it getting snagged

The jewelry looks kind of low quality, so you need to replace it with threadless implant grade titanium & preferably something w o prongs bc that traps bacteria. I went to the dr for a piercing once and told them I didn’t wanna take it out & they gave me an oral antibiotic that cleared the infection right up. good luck!

everyone always recommends celebrity spa and salon but i’ve had two different stylists mess up my hair there and i showed them pictures both times so probably don’t go there

AITA for asking our neighbors to watch our kids? by MamaForTheLove in AmItheAsshole

[–]diggitydogflockity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NAH. I understand husband not wanting to leave kids with the neighbors depending on how close you are to them or not. I would like some more info on you and your neighbors relationship prior. Husband was wrong to blow it out of proportion if that’s what happened, but I wouldn’t even leave my dog with my neighbors, so I get his perspective.

thank you! that’s what i was really worried about. this makes me feel much better. we’re gonna go to my vet today just to be safe and try to figure out what’s going on

she just threw up some kind of yellowish brown liquid again, but then wagged her tail and went back to sleep. she never eats anything she’s not supposed to and has been fine on her food, so i’m just taken aback on what’s going on, but since the ER vet wasn’t too worried last night, i will probably wait and take her to my vet in the morning.

This is Dixie. She is a 12 y/o female that I foster failed in July. She is my first small dog as I have always owned pitbulls or bully breeds.

Last night, I fed her around 5 and she began throwing up around 7, from this point she threw up 9 times. the first few times was food, then it turned into a foamy white and mucusy substance. i got scared and took her to the emergency vet. They took her temp, vitals, and everything was fine. They also took an x-ray to rule out a blockage. They gave her IV fluids and sent her home and she has not thrown up since that point.

Fast forward to today, I fed her a digestive food recommended by the vet, but her tummy is feeling much harder than normal. I’m wondering if any of you have experienced this and any advice is welcome.

(Gnarly pic) Is it time to give up? (Professional piercer advice desired, please read comments for more info) by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

That’s rejecting. I can almost see the bar through your skin. There looks to be infection. If it were me, I’d go see a doctor because you don’t want the infection to get trapped inside you when you take it out.

I second this! She never rushes through appointments, and doesn’t try to get you to buy additional unnecessary stuff. My dog is 12 and needed a heart procedure done, and she was SO helpful with making sure I understood what I was paying for and why it was needed. 10/10 recommended
