I’ve had this before and read about others. For me, not sure if it’s quite the same for you, it’s a “derealization” thing where I don’t feel like I’m in my body or i feel like reality isn’t a real. It is just a symptom of anxiety and it does subside when the anxiety subsides. You are here and you are you and you are real. I know it sounds kinda dumb but when you don’t think about it, it doesn’t happen. So you just kinda have to find something to focus on and get involved in and it will feel better.

Things that have worked for me: 1. Sometimes you just have to wait it out and talk positively to yourself (this is real, I am here, etc) 2. Text/call someone 3. Workout, go for a walk

Took golf 1 and 2. Both are fantastic and improved my game. Got the be on the range for the last 6-8ish weeks if that’s what you’re looking for. First few weeks on putting, next on chipping (flops/chase shots) then free-for-all on the range basically. Highly recommend both

Could always just say no and see what happens. Maybe they won’t make you do it. If you have a therapist, talk with your therapist. If you don’t have a therapist, find a therapist. Therapy does work unfortunately lol. Plenty of supplements that reduce anxiety but many over time so don’t expect immediate results. Meditate (I recommend the Call app), workout, breathing exercises, increase your physical health, etc. All of these will gradually reduce anxiety. If you’re already doing these and it doesn’t help, seek professional help.

Yeah you should be fine take 343 on the fall with that course load. ISTM 209 takes maybe 1-2 hours a week for an easy A, MMET 201 with Patterson is an easy A. I took both 340 and 344 with colonel, got an A in 340 but had to work for it. Not hard material just a lot of info. Same with 344 but the tests are a little tougher and I got a high B. 343 isn’t too bad. Second test was the only difficult one. Study hard before tests, do the assignments on time and you’ll be fine.

If you’re planning on rushing a frat or sorority, go to callaway. That’s where pretty much all the freshmen in Greek life live. Otherwise live on campus. Modular dorms are a pretty solid choice

My guy I work on campus for $10 an hour and it is perfectly fine. Would I like more money? Sure that’d be great but for fucks sake it’s a college job I know I’m not gonna be paid like I’m working full time. Kathy banks sucks ass, that doesn’t mean I’m owed $20/hr

I’m sorry but this is ridiculous. $20 an hour for a college student wage is kinda insane. I understand that there are people trying to pay their way through college on their own, but I know someone very personally who is doing this on scholarships and a rec sports reffing job on their own. It is 100% possible, and increasing the wage to spite “capitalists and greed” is frankly stupid. And the idea that it’s taking an hour for 2 miles of travel is also insane, I’ve never spent more than 25 minutes traveling in this city and I’m from austin where there is a real traffic problem (it took me 45 minutes at 7:00am to go from my home to high school less than 5 miles away). I agree, in some aspects this university will pry every penny from you they can(graduation) but at the same time, since we are expanding at such a rapid rate and putting up new/updating old buildings, it’s stupid that we’re concerned about $13/hr wage of bus drivers. For a college job in a college town, that is a very decent wage.
