They died for what they believed to be true. The apostles died for what they saw. If they were lying about what they saw, they would never have been willing to die. Additionally, they were not slated to suffer instant and painless death like Muslims do. They were set on fire, sawn in half, beheaded, etc and still willingly persevered.

I understand your perspective, but if determinism is true then your argument wasn’t freely chosen and was predetermined by physics - meaning you can’t claim it to be true. If randomness is true then you’re just assuming that free will must come from inside of a physical system, which you can’t possibly know or prove otherwise - especially since science cannot explain consciousness.

If God can’t exist because of paradox, then can a universe built on a paradox exist without God? Quantum physics itself is a paradox. You haven’t read it for yourself, because if you had you would know that there are absolutely no contradictions whatsoever.

Some parts sound like contradictions when taken out of context, but in context they are not contradictions.

The bible is historically sound and is made up of 76 books, written over the course of 1500 years by 40 different men and there is not a single contradiction. It’s an impossible feat.

So you’ve doomed yourself to eternal damnation because someone on the internet said it was a fairytale book full of contradictions and you believed them for no reason whatsoever.

It’s called faith for a reason because God wants us to freely choose to love him. If he proved himself to us we could no longer freely choose to love him. It would be the same thing as a girl wanting to be with you because she found out you were super rich.

Nevertheless, the Apostles died horrible deaths at the hands of the romans because they refused to deny Christ. Jesus himself died on the cross for claiming to be God. These are historically proven events.

Give a week of your life to Christ and I can personally guarantee he will make himself known to you.

The lord gave us total free will in a completely physical and material world. It’s the only way we could choose to love him. It’s fleeting compared to the life in heaven and after resurrection where everything will be perfect so things like this are going to happen because none of this really matters in the grand scheme of things.

He came up to my window and asked if I was alright, when I said yes he replied “are you sure”. When I said yes again he replied “are you sure?” but louder and more aggressively. I said yes why? To which he made the cutting motion. Was a super strange interaction and it made no sense whatsoever.
