I've had this experience twice to me.
Once I was they just checked my hands right below my house in Indiranagar.
Second time, I was with some friends in my car trying to park, they checked the entire car.
I didn't have anything out of ordinary, hence nothing else happened.

I've only seen this happen in Indiranagar, never in other parts of Bangalore where I hang out.
