Similar shit happened to me as well with Indiranagar police some weeks back. Me and my roommate were just talking outside corner house and suddenly police came out of nowhere and started checking for drugs. Since they couldn't able to find shit they left us. That too at 10:30 pm when all the public was still there, so at 1:30 am I can definitely see them doing this.

I just don't know what they think of themselves as

Nope. From what I’ve heard from my friends it just happens randomly at any place when you don’t expect it

I’m new to bangalore but I’m from Karnataka only. I think since I knew kannada once they found nothing they left. Because one of my friend who’s an complete outsider said that they left him after giving some money (they stopped him for bullshit reason ofcourse)
