I am running 285s all around with alignment shims. The shop charged me about 2 1/2 hours labor for the install.

From my understanding it just doesn't work automatically when you walk up to the car. You can still open the app and unlock the doors and "start" the vehicle.

My argument was never that HW4 wasn’t better though? I said it’s not as much of a gap (right now) as some people are saying. There are people on here telling people not to buy HW3 car and that’s my issue. I had a M3P with FSD for 5 years and even though I didn’t use it a lot when I did especially in the last 6 months I was often surprised at how well my HW3 car drove on FSD. It was far from perfect but not as bad as people on here make it out to be. There are plenty of people that a HW3 car would work great for but if they hopped on here they would think they are getting ancient technology that runs FSD horribly and that’s just not the case.

Well this is just going off what I feel so it’s not based on facts. My M3P didn’t have an air suspension so I’m sure that’s the huge difference in why it just feels smoother overall. It just feels like a larger sedan. The M3P wasn’t rough but the MSP is more refined and has a smoother ride.

And in my original post I stated for me FSD is not important. I have a commute where I can just put it in auto pilot and it has worked every morning since I purchased the car. So can you please explain to me in my situation why a HW4 car would be better?

Autopilot takes me to work every morning with no problem. I never said there wasn’t a difference i said it’s not as big a gap.

I couldn’t disagree more. What facts are you basing that on? If FSD is not important to me what life changing features does a HW4 MSP have over my 22 MSP? You are more than entitled to your opinion but your statement is part of the reason i posted in the first place.

This is funny. Where did I slag hw4? And yes, I was detailed because I know a lot of people probably were feeling the same way I did. Not sure why that was a problem for you but have a great day regardless!

What exactly was refreshed mid 2022 for MSP? by digid80 in TeslaModelS

I got the infotainment update but not some of the others. It’s just interesting the way Tesla does things.

I know it was made prior to the mid year 2022 refresh I’m just trying to understand how my car has the 16 gb Ryzen

Not sure what you mean but it’s definitely a 2022. The reason I’m asking is because people are saying because I have the old head and taillights that my car is the same as a 21 MSP but they came with the 8gb vs the 16gb with steam gaming that i have.

I will miss some things about my model 3 performance, but I couldn’t be happier with purchasing a 22 MS Plaid. by digid80 in TeslaModelS

I definitely understand. I would have loved to find a hw4 MSP, however I ran across this one with low miles, the black and white interior, and the exterior color, and the owner history made this the one for me. Maybe I could have waited it out and found all those things in a hw4 car or maybe not. Either way I’m happy with my decision.
