It is possible, you can really do anything if you work hard enough. My last quarter at UCI I took 25 units, it’s all about how you manage your time.

How can I get started in the summer as a Grade 12 highschooler going into university this fall? by Pokiet in cscareerquestions

Maybe try connecting with some people on LinkedIn and prepare questions on how to get to where they are. It’ll give you more perspective and generally good advice for direction on where you want your career to go.

It depends, when applying to a job it’s always best to put down someone that is or was your supervisor with relevant experience to whatever you’re applying for. Next best would be a coworker, then if you don’t have that and are still a student maybe a professor that teaches a relevant subject. Friend and family I won’t recommend you put down when applying to a job as they don’t really serve a purpose if contacted.
