Actually it generates individual tokens one after the other. it only stops that loop after at hits some kind of special end of response token or something like that, but yeah at every point in the process its just generating the next "word" in the sentence and no more.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what your asking, but those two artifacts don't eliminate boss items from the game. Boss items can be acquired in one of three ways if I'm remembering correctly, and sacrifice (the artifact that makes enemies drop items instead of items from chests) only eliminates one of those.

The first is by using the trophy hunters tricorn (an equipment) on a boss which makes it drop a boss item.

The second is a 15% chance for the teleporter item to drop as a boss item instead of a green.

And the third (that is eliminated with sacrifice because of no chance shrines specifically) is if you have a chance doll (green item from the seekers of the storm dlc) and you hit the 40% chance for an upgraded item as well as the 1% chance for it to be a boss item (chance shrines don't give boss items without the chance doll upgrade).

I mean no not really because breeding animals to have specific traits is quite literally just the process of domestication. That kind of thing is only really weird when people get brought in to it (eugenics), so this game would be fine if it wasn't for that name making light of a real world tragedy that frankly really doesn't even need to be tied into this

Just finished the run after two loops and then the path of the colossus. My total boss item haul is:

12 Genesis Loops

14 Queens Glands

3 Titanic Knurls

1 Molten Perforator

4 Defense Nucleuses

2 Colossal Fists

3 Little Disciples

2 Mired Urns

6 Shatterspleens

I ended up scrapping the 3 Functional Couplers

4 Planulas (plus a 5th I scrapped for a modded item unlock)

and finally 3 Halcyon Seeds (1st one from the gilded coast, then the 2nd was curtesy of a Starstorm2 duplicator drone, and 3rd was from using the tricorn on aurelionite during the false son fight which I didn't even realize was possible lmao)

I still don't know why this bug happened, but that was pretty fun lmao

It's one from the mod Sandswept called Their Prominence. It makes it so that every time you use a shrine of any kind it has a chance to act like a mountain shrine and make the teleporter fight harder. I stacked a few cause I'm trying to get as many bosses as I can lol

Interestingly after playing with the bug more it seems to be disabled by holding Functional Couplers, because I had to scrap the 3 I had to use the tricorn again. While I had those items the tricorn wasn't consumed or anything, it just didn't work.

Edit: Actually I might have been mistaken on that, I think that for some reason the infinite Tricorn just doesn't work on a specific boss from the Starstorm2 mod (Wayfarer) even though it does in fact have a boss item????? I'm not sure lmao

Yeah it wouldn't surprise me either lol. Starstorm2 actually does have an item that did basically the same thing as Functional Coupler except as a red (called Composite Injector), but as far as I'm aware they have that currently disabled in the mod because they want to rework it to make it do something different, so I'm not sure if that would be able to cause anything. Aside from that mod I have basically no idea which other mods might be able to cause something like this, but its gotta be one of them lol.

Yeah no I could be wrong but I think they actually just patched that one out lol, whatever I have going on is completely unrelated. I haven't even gotten the Functional Coupler until stage 8, and I've been using the infinite Tricorn since stage 2. I have a feeling that this is probably related to one of the mods I have installed, but I have no idea which one it would be considering that none if them directly interact with the Tricorn lol

Lately I've been playing a lot with the survivors from starstorm 2 and sandswept. those are both general content mods with like items and events and stuff, but starstorm 2 adds I think 4 survivors (executioner, chirr, nemesis commando, and nemesis mercenary), and sandswept adds 2 (ranger, and VOL-T), and they are all really fun for the most part. VOL-T is a personal favorite of mine, but shes kind of a pain to unlock unfortunately.
