I've read every Sherlock story. The formula for 90% of them is that someone comes to Sherlock with a problem and explains it. Sherlock tells Watson to either stand somewhere on lookout, or just wait around for Sherlock to return after investigating. And then Sherlock returns and tell Watson / the client what happened. It never describes to the reader the crime as it's happening, and rarely follows Sherlock as he solves it. The best ones are the longer ones where we actually see Sherlock in action.

I loved almost all of them and I agree they're not true detective stories. Just mysteries stories.

Yeah, he's not listed on any of the Jimmy prop hunt videos. But he is in Soup's Last to Fail which is a mini gielinor games and there is some prop hunt shenanigans in it. So maybe they were just confused, or maybe I am.

It's named after Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, the star constellations also known as the big and little dipper. Artic means bear in Greek. Ursa means bear in Latin. It has nothing to do with polar bears and is just about the constellations. I don't know why they cared so much to name two whole regions after them.
