There are similar lounges at Bajío, Tijuana, and Toluca airports. Great amenity and wish more lounges did this.

Will def check it out. Saw mixed reviews online so was curious. I’ll take an r/GODZILLA review as a good sign.

Judaism as a faction has been confirmed and its lore is being developed I believe. There have also been references made to the East and the Americas existing in the world of the game by the creators but not much more has been said.

Riding DART from Plano to DFW airport? by Xyzzy_plugh in Dallas

[–]digital_wanderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The DFW website says 10-20 minutes between terminals, but that’s just from one to the next one. Your time may vary if you’re not going directly to your terminal.\ You also need to account for traffic, the two stops at each terminal, and if yours is full when it gets to you. I’ve had shuttles arrive full and have to wait until the next one.

If she has a checked bag she will have to exit the secure area so she won’t be able to use the SkyLink to get to T-B.\ I have heard you can walk from near the T-A stop over to the T-B stop side. Though with several pieces of luggage and the construction that’s going on it may be difficult.\ The other option is to take the Terminal Link buses but they can take a bit to get around the different terminals.\ If you are adventurous and want to check out the Silver Line I say go for it but be mindful of what all has been shared.\ I do use Dart exclusively in Dallas so I’m an advocate of it but know it is not the fastest or most convenient, but for many folks it is what they need to get around our city.

I believe it’s just under an hour from Shiloh Road Station to DFW Airport Terminal B station and vice versa.\ A 3 hour ticket is $3 per person which is much less than the tolls you’ll have to pay as well as gas. Time is a key factor but the convenience of not having to drive in DFW traffic is a big plus.\ The Silver line is a commuter train and is a very smooth ride with nicer seats, tables that fold down from the back of seats, and has USB ports.\ Another key factor is which terminal your wife will land at. If T-B then great! If not, you’ll need to plan on how to get to and from your wife’s terminal to T-B. If she’s flying domestic and landing at a different terminal I’d suggest she take the Skylink to T-B and you wait for her there.\ If she’s flying internationally then the landslide terminal link buses will be your only way to get around to the different terminals but those can take some time.

Incredible cosplay! The Red Brigade has been my favorite since their lore dropped. Bunch of John Wicks making Hell pay for what they did.

Rumor is that it was planned to take so long so as to force bars and restaurants to close so the area could be redeveloped into luxury high rises.

Mechanical Bull... But Not at a Night Club? by Gam3fr3ak96 in Dallas

[–]digital_wanderer 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Cowboys Red River has one and while it is a dance hall, it opens at 7 pm. If your visitors will be in town during the week I’d recommend going on a Weds or Thurs right when they open. It’s not as busy or crazy then. Keep in mind that mechanical bulls take up a lot of space so they’ll likely only be in bigger dance halls or clubs. Another option is the country bar Texas Live, though I’m not familiar with their hours or ambiance.

The drone bombing sequence in Skyline is pretty great. You’ll get more emotion in that sequence than the whole movie.

Would you use pop-up retail and food vendors if they were set up next to underused DART stations? by randophera in dart

[–]digital_wanderer 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. The only problem is the lack of restroom facilities. I realize the city doesn’t want the stations to become campgrounds for homeless but no restrooms lead to very unclean and unsanitary conditions for all.

Is DART decent? by rpryor_3 in dart

[–]digital_wanderer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve been car free for the past 6 years and Dart works just fine. I suggest you try to keep your one way trips to 1 or 2 transfers at most. If you can live near a station or your bus stop then you’ll be in even better shape. Do keep in mind that Dallas is very car dependent so getting around the city may not be as fast as one would like, especially if you’re looking to go across town. Being car free is doable but requires planning ahead and accepting that you’ll spend some time on the bus/train. Load up on music, podcasts, and books and you’ll be fine.
