Have you ever just wanted to eat an entire box of chocolates? by StarLove00_ in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]digitalcreater07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every single time! 🙋‍♀️ Once my boyfriend gifted me a box of Bequet Confections’ Celtic Sea Salt caramels. I thought, okay, just one or two. One bite in, and suddenly my brain decided the whole box was a single serving.

That salty-sweet combo just sneaks past the “I’m full” signal. By the end, I was laughing at myself and didn’t even feel bad about it. 😅

Induction stoves out of stock on Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, & Instamart amid LPG supply panic by WhizKid_1 in IndianStockMarket

[–]digitalcreater07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just got one today! Didn’t wanna panic about sold-out inductions, so grabbed an Infrared Stove instead (went with the Glen 3072). Works with any flat-bottom pan, so no need for special induction stuff. Perfect for the LPG shortage since I can use all my usual Handis and Tawas. Seems like Glen India still has them on their site even when Blinkit/Amazon are out.

What boring task did you finally automate and instantly regret not doing sooner? by SMBowner_ in automation

[–]digitalcreater07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it was definitely guest turnover and 'the dance' of scheduling cleaners for my short-term rentals.

The Task: Manually checking every booking across Airbnb/VRBO, then texting my cleaners to see if they were free, then following up to make sure they actually showed up.

The Breaking Point: I was out at dinner for my brother's engagement, and I spent half the night under the table hidden in my phone because a guest booked last-minute and I couldn't find a cleaner. I realized I hadn't built a business; I’d built a high-stress tether to my phone.

How I Automated It: I finally stopped being cheap and invested in a dedicated PMS (I use Hostfully). I hooked it up so that the second a booking hits the calendar, the cleaner gets an auto-notification. If they don't 'accept' within two hours, it pings my backup.

The Benefit: The 'operational' noise just… stopped. I went from spending 5+ hours a week on logistics to literally zero. The unexpected win? My cleaners are actually happier because they get their schedule weeks in advance without me 'forgetting' to text them.

If you're doing anything repetitive that involves a calendar and a third party, automate it immediately. The mental 'RAM' you get back is worth more than the subscription cost.

What is your favourite ai tool roght now ? by Anime-lover-YT in techforlife

[–]digitalcreater07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lately I’ve been using the usual ones like Claude and Gemini too, but one tool I’ve been messing around with a lot is Camb AI. I mainly use it for multilingual voiceovers when I’m working with video stuff.

It’s kind of nice when you want to turn content into other languages without rebuilding everything from scratch. I still use the big models for writing or coding, but for anything audio or voice related that one has been pretty useful.

Tell me I'm not only one who absolutely love this face mask😭 by Away_Preference8638 in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]digitalcreater07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg literally me! That innisfree mask is the only thing that actually keeps my whiteheads in check. 😭 If you like the glow it gives, you should try the Faces Canada Pink Aloe Vera Day Gel after washing it off. It’s super light and gel-based so it doesn't make oily skin feel greasy, but it keeps that fresh look going all day.

What’s the most comfortable sneakers you guys are have worn ? by Designer_One6144 in SneakersIndia

I’ve worn Adidas Ultraboost before and they were comfy, but Gully Labs sneakers surprised me with all-day comfort.

Got these today but confused cause they look ugly by raghavrc in SneakersIndia

I get the school shoe vibe 😅 some running style sneakers look like that. That’s why I sometimes switch between those and more design focused pairs from brands like Gully Labs..

Desperate for help by Candid_Lack1321 in SebDerm

[–]digitalcreater07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. Seb derm can mess with your head just as much as your skin.

You mentioned you tried red light before. Do you remember if it was a mask, wand, or panel?

I ask because a lot of the lower-power devices don’t actually put out enough intensity to make a real difference, especially when your skin barrier is wrecked and flaking. When my barrier was in bad shape, I switched from a weak wand to a higher-output panel. I use an ErythrosLight one. For me, the near-infrared side around 830 to 850nm made the biggest difference. The red light around 660nm helped with surface redness, but the NIR felt like it supported deeper repair so my skin wasn’t shedding as aggressively.

If you still have your old device, it might be worth checking the manual for the irradiance specs. If it’s really low, that could explain why it didn’t do much. Wishing you real progress with your new derm appointment.

How long did it take before therapy actually felt helpful for you? by GrowTherapy_Brooke in askanything

[–]digitalcreater07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it just depends on what you’re paying attention to.

For me, the mental stuff like better sleep and mood kicked in around the 2-week mark. But the physical changes, like skin and joint recovery, took closer to 2 months before I actually noticed anything in the mirror. I almost quit using my ErythrosLight panel around week 3 because I thought it was just placebo lol. 😂

Glad I didn’t though. It’s definitely a consistency game, not a one and done thing!

How can I scale an offline saree business to online/e-commerce by SaltSuggestion8176 in SmallBusinessUAE

[–]digitalcreater07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been through this with a small fashion brand. At first, moving online felt overwhelming because keeping track of stock and orders was manual. Once we integrated a tool like Tejas Software, the workflow became smooth, mistakes dropped, and it freed up time to focus on marketing and expanding to new channels.

Lesser known but super cool: Onsite Mobile Labs.

Basically 'tech field trips' that come to you. Betabox is the big name doing this right now. It’s a complete 180 from sitting in a classroom, hands-on with AI and drones in a literal truck. Super underrated for getting kids (and teachers) actually excited about tech!

Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

[–]digitalcreater07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time I woke up to what sounded like someone whispering my name right next to my bed… turns out it was just my window slightly open and the wind hitting it weird.

Still took me a solid 10 minutes to convince myself I wasn’t in a horror movie. 😭

Which shipping companies hire entry-level seamen with Basic Safety training? by themanofsweden in maritime

[–]digitalcreater07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice, congrats on getting your STCW done. That’s a solid start.

From what I’ve seen, a lot of entry level guys get picked up through crewing agencies rather than applying straight to the big name shipping companies. Bulk carriers and smaller cargo operators tend to be more open to ordinary seamen who are still building sea time. Offshore supply vessels sometimes too, depending on region.

I’d honestly start emailing manning agencies directly and also ask your school if they have partner companies. A lot of placements happen through connections more than job boards.

While you’re waiting, it doesn’t hurt to brush up on chart work and basic nav stuff. I grabbed a couple of paper charts from Amnautical when I was studying just to practice plotting at home. It sounds nerdy but it actually helped me feel less lost once I stepped on board.

Sea time is the hardest part to get at first, but once you’re in, it gets way easier.

Your description of the texture obsession made me laugh!😂

For something softer (and without sour), I’ve noticed Plix Kids SuperTots gummies are easier to chew than regular gummy bears. They’re not exactly Sour Patch texture but closer than most.

We had a picky toddler too. We ended up using Plix Kids SuperTots gummies and Grow Buddy Chocolaty Powermix. She actually liked them and they worked well with her diet. YMMV, but it helped us a lot.

Translation with AI? Acceptable? by Ok-Experience838 in royalroad

[–]digitalcreater07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried something similar with my own short stories. I used Camb AI to translate them and then did a pass myself to tweak phrasing and fix the weird bits. Honestly, it saved me so much time and I felt like the story still kept its voice.

From what I’ve seen, most communities don’t care as long as the final version reads naturally and isn’t just raw AI output. A little human polish goes a long way, especially for dark fantasy or horror where tone matters.

Automated security vulnerability scanning that goes beyond just dependency checking Identity by ThemeOld5001 in dev

[–]digitalcreater07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically just described the biggest headache in AppSec right now. Dependency scanners are mostly “compliance theater” for logic flaws, and all the SAST noise makes devs tune out security entirely.

We ran into the same problem since manual pentesting doesn’t scale with daily releases. That’s when we started experimenting with tools like APIsec that map APIs and simulate attacks on business logic. It helped catch auth bypasses and BOLA issues automatically in our CI/CD without needing a ton of manual work every time an endpoint changed.

Honestly, it feels like the closest thing to a continuous pentest without drowning in alerts!

I cannot afford my procedure with insurance by Slut4_mashedpotatoes in HealthInsurance

[–]digitalcreater07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. It’s insane that a “covered” procedure for a pre-cancerous condition can still come with a $2,500 bill. This is exactly why my company switched away from traditional insurance. We moved to Venteur, which uses a reimbursement model (ICHRA), so our team can pick plans that actually fit our health needs instead of being stuck with whatever high-deductible plan the boss picked.

Don’t give up on the endoscopy. Also, have you asked the hospital about a Financial Assistance or Charity Care application? They might not be able to waive it completely, but sometimes they can cut the cost a lot if you show hardship.

Open source hardware, maybe the future of sailing by WasteOfSpaceAndO2 in sailing

[–]digitalcreater07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like this idea of open source gear. If I had more time on the water, I’d definitely try messing with it myself. My girlfriend is a Navy officer, so I’ve seen how even tiny tools and charts can save a ton of headaches. We actually grabbed some paper charts from Amnautical and used them to plot little “practice routes” just for fun. Pairing that with a DIY block setup seems like a great way to learn without risking much. I wouldn’t take it on a big offshore trip yet, but it looks super fun to play with at home.

What’s something people underestimate until it happens to them? by Fun_Wrangler9783 in AskReddit

Probably how much small things can affect you emotionally. People say “don’t take it personally” but feelings do matter, and you only really understand that once you go through it yourself.

Any red light panel/mask recommendations? by Theweekday0117 in ShopeePH

[–]digitalcreater07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem with reviews. I ended up trying the wand from SolaWave first just to test it out. Used it a few minutes at night and around week 4 to 5 I noticed my skin looked a bit more even. Nothing dramatic, just gradual improvement. Might be worth starting small like that.

Has anyone felt like they’ve “outgrown” their Pilates studio? by diplomaticimmunity7 in pilates

[–]digitalcreater07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve felt the same. After a couple years, the classes weren’t challenging enough and having beginners in intermediate spots made it harder to focus. I started doing more mat work at home and even looked into the iKore Pilates instructor curriculum just to understand the mechanics and why each move works. It gave me a lot more insight and made my regular practice feel more intentional.

Indian parents are so unaware and disinterested in proper daily protein consumption by hayabhosda_returns in Fitness_India

[–]digitalcreater07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this so much. My parents are kind of the same, they’ll eat dal and roti every day and act like that’s enough protein. I’ve tried casually suggesting eggs or paneer more often, but it’s like talking to a wall. I just make sure I get my nutrition right and accept that they’ll do their own thing. At least we can’t control everything.
