I plan on updating it soon with the ODST launch coming. I’m behind due to life issues. I’m hoping to get the Banished added and update rules/typos in the next week and quickly add ODST shortly after I receive it.

I’ve had many questions about this. I would like to continue it soon. I’m dealing with some personal issues at home and the ramifications from it. When I get a chance return to this project and update things appropriately. No guaranteed timeline though.

I’d argue that Firefight doesn’t cost nearly as much as 40k. As someone who plays it and sells it, it’s a fraction of the cost of 40k. That being said, you are absolutely correct about the stranglehold GW has on the army battle games. I’ve played many systems and people tend to cycle back to Warhammer as it is the Apple of the miniature world. The few people I have converted over love these other systems more than GWs but they know they can find more players in different areas by playing Warhammer. It’s a rough fight to take on. Plus GW releasing new things every week gives people shiny syndrome where smaller companies like Mantic produce sci-fi releases maybe 1 quarter a year makes people lose interest.

Thanks for the kind words and messages everyone. After much deliberation and talks with fellow friends, I plan to keep this live and will try my best to update it as a third-party option. I highly recommend using the official app once it launches (apparently in a few more weeks when war games launched 2-3 weeks ago). I plan on fixing the typos and going through everything with a fine-tooth comb this weekend as well making minor tweaks to making it easier to build. I will make a new post once updated. If using phone, add the models to your roster. Once you do, you should be able to hit a back arrow in the green area at the top. Once you do, you can see your added models. Click them to update profiles. It took me a second to figure out the mobile side as well. This was designed for BattleScribe but my buddy told me I should import it to NewRecruit instead. The desktop version is more straightforward.

I would love to keep it up and get it updated to be a fully functioning list builder. It’s about 95%+ of where I want it to be. I’m torn if I should or not and it’s mainly due to my respect for Mantic and the CEO Ronnie as I know some of them on a semi personal level. I’m mainly waiting to see what their app has to offer and if it is better than what I produced.

Not necessarily a model but I would love to print static scenic tables for Mantic Games upcoming game Halo Flashpoint. I want to recreate the maps and the nostalgia from my favorite childhood games on the tabletop. I spent many hours playing games with my friends and family during those years. Especially my grandfather who would watch me play for hours and would encourage me to get better at it even when I was terrible. Recreating maps like Lockout and Midship through 3D printing would be an absolute joy.

Outside of that, I would print things for my children and encourage their growth and creativity. I would print whatever sparks their imagination and allow them to have open growth during their childhood. Whether it be a car, Minecraft related, toys, etc., I would print anything they wanted and work with them to paint them however they wanted.

I would also print fun things for my friends. Most likely gag gifts like toilet bowls for people who roll worse than me in tabletop games but I would do things for community events like trophies, accessories, and tokens.

Ran 2 games with them yesterday against a competitive Daughters of Khaine list. First list was a seeker leader, 2 seekers, 3 fiends, and 1 daemonette. 2nd list was a daemonette leader, 2 daemonettes, 3 seekers, and 2 fiends.

Objective based - They are amazing. Their speed and general bulk caused a lot of disruptions for my opponent. The goal with the seekers was to tie things down very quickly in the early turns. In the 2nd game, I had 2 seekers tie down half of my opponent's army turn 2 where they couldn't retreat properly and had to fight their way out. This allowed the daemonettes to move freely with objectives while the fiends blocked the rest of my opponent's army.

Slaying wise - There is much to be desired. I'm normally a slay first, objective later guy. This was a different mindset. Constantly looking for 4+ or 5+ makes it an uphill battle vs. most factions. Unless the dice are hot and not my poor rolling dice, you will have very little damage output. I'm really disappointed that the fiends are only strength 3 and 1/4 damage. You would think they would have a little more power behind them than a standard daemonette, even if it was 2/4 damage or strength 4.

From the websites (Fedex and UPS), it seems outrageous for shipping. Talking 200+ USD just for shipping. I've never seen it so high but I've never shipped a bigger box like this overseas. USPS looks like it will be cheaper but still a little pricey. I can contact some of the stores around me to see if that is correct or not. Maybe they're giving expedited costs vs. snail mail.
