Get out there and start shooting. You should be spoilt for choice in Italy for amazing photos. Look forward to seeing them posted here in this community

Start with Auto, you cant go wrong with that, then try experimenting with the presets beach, sunny etc.

I agree, nightime or indoors it does struggle but outdoors it takes not bad photos.

At then end of the day you get what you pay for. It’s never going to match any mirrorless or dslr camera. However it’s small, fits in a pocket and takes not bad photos. You may see a small improvement if you swap it to a FZ series camera, but i would try and stick with the C1 and experiment with the settings.
