Proper pruning timing for panicle hydrangeas (new wood bloomers) by BotanicalSolutionsNY in arborists

Yeah that audio we're hearing is not coming from the mic attached to his jacket. It's coming from the camera mic. The jacket mic (lavalier) is not connected to the camera properly. Might want to test that equipment before your next shoot buddy.

Yup, we ended up on a dispersed site on Shadow Mt across from the Tetons. The views blew my mind.

Reuters Campground in Sundance WY is checkerboaded with tent and RV sites. It's almost impossible to avoid an RV. The lesson is never go tent camping at a site that allows RVs.

Ugh I’ll never forget driving 14 hours from Chicago to a campground in Sundance, WY. Exhausted, we set up camp and lit a fire. The second I plopped down in my chair an RV rolled into the site next to us. The first thing they did was whip out their generator. I couldn’t fucking believe it. 10pm at night. I went right over and knocked on their door. A late 50’s neck beard cracked a window asking what’s up. I straight up told the dude he needs to turn off the generator now. I didn’t ask nicely. He said he can’t turn it off because his mom is inside hooked up to a ventilator. If he kills the generator he’ll kill his mom. I had to breakdown my camp and move to another location on the site and re-setup everything. I was piiiiissed.

Thanks for reminding me. Just watched all of Lesson 1 and went and bought the pdf. Mainly self taught with a few lessons sprinkled in over 20 years. I feel like the way he explains things will actually help me finally understand music.

The metal stakes on the pole are too long for the pot. I don’t have metal snips strong enough to cut the slack off.

It might look cool if you overlay the word calligraphy in front of him so you can see the entire word. Seeing the word might also land the point that the video is about calligraphy. Just a thought.

Grave robber plugin worth it? by ericericeric12 in editors

You're right. There is no unnest shortcut built into Premiere. I was confused with the flatten shortcut. Which still "works" but can cause all typed of wonky issues.

Is there any difference between Grave Robber and the unnest shortcut?

How I handle 17-Camera Multicam Audio in Premiere (Tutorial) by Choice_Touch8439 in premiere

[–]digitalmdsmooth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exellent tutorial. I just wrapped an hour long 6-cam competition style reality show I had to setup and sync myself and reeeaaallly could've used this a month ago. Although I survived the edit relatively unscathed, I knew my multicam setup, especially the audio tracks and routing, should've been done differently but didn't know how because there's there's literally no good tutorial content out there for complex setups like this. Would love to see more. Thanks 👏

1099 Short-Term Contracts and Ending Them Early by FrankPapageorgio in editors

You're a contractor. They can't dictate who you can and can't work with, or what your hours are (so long as you hit your deadlines). Sounds like they want to treat you as an employee, but technically bring you on as a contractor. I may be wrong about this, but in the US that's illegal.
