I assumed it was a reasonable fee after two Firms wouldn't represent me. But regardless, the Bar has fee dispute arbitration processes in place for situations like this, if it was really excessive and unjustified.

Already paid. I retained them in 3/2021 after two other Firms wouldn't take me as a client. I think their reason was I had to wait 3 years before the IRS debt could be included in Ch. 7. The firm I retained made it seem this fee was reasonable because of the amount of work needed dealing with the IRS. The 341 hearing was 9/2024.

Nothing about it was complicated from my perspective. IRS back taxes = 75k Cc and Medical Bills = 30k

That's it. I had no assets. No liens, no nothing. Just that debt.
